QPAD 3202 MK-85 Pro Gaming Mechanical Keyboard - UK Layout
11 November 2014
Summary: Bought this K/B 23 mths ago and it is a pleasure to use every time. Really like the adjustable lighting for night time playing, and the full rollover keys. Lots of Macro`s for them that have the knowledge. Typing is also a pleasure. Only problem I did have is the paint on two of the keys started to flake at the corners, allowing the led lighting underneath to shine through. This is apparently very unusual.
Summary: I've bought this product over 1 year ago and I still love it just as much as the day I started using it. Extremely comfortable to type and play games. The only cons is that the LED on this keyboard doesn't light everything up. Most notably the arrows under backspace and the enter key. If the small issue with the LED doesn't bother you, I definitely recommend this to anyone who wants a fantastic keyboard that will last.
Summary: When typing fast, the key left of ENTER (', # or ' depending on your layout) key causes duplicates under Gentoo,Arch,Mint and Xubuntu. When I contacted their tech support I was told that "this keyboard is made for Windows". For example: don't' <--- five key presses incorrectly results in six characters. [...
Summary: This is an excellent, solid, quality keyboard. A pleasure to type on and responsive for gaming, with Cherry MX brown switches. Don't underestimate the benefits of a good quality mechanical keyboard, this is vastly nicer to use than my previous keyboard, a Microsoft Sidewinder X4. Do research the switch types and think carefully before buying though.
Summary: Five stars because this is every bit worth it. Getting used to the mechanical aspect of typing/gaming took a week or so of double tapping by accident thinking I had not struck the key but after that I was fine....I wouldn't go back to soft caps now. At first I wondered why people would review the 'sound' of the keys - now I know why. I personally like the chunky tap sound of the cherry reds but my missus can't stand it..
Summary: I have had this board for almost a year now, used on a daily basis. Excellent build quality - feels very solid. NKRO (N Key Roll Over) via USB - most NKRO boards only offer NKRO via PS2 and reduce to 6 Key Roll Over via USB. Two USB plus Mic and Headphone 3.5mm pass through ports. Cherry MX-Red key switches, light and responsive - a perfect balance for typing or gaming in my opinion.
Summary: I am using it for two months now and I don't imagine myself going back to rubber dome or membrane keyboard. The quality of it is just superb. I did an extensive research before deciding on QPAD MK-85. After reviewing other mechanical keyboards my final choice was between this one and Gigabyte Osmium. I am just glad I choose this one. I love typing on this - my fingers are feeling much better now no more pain or stiffness after long gaming sessions.
Summary: This keyboard is well worth the investment. It is an absolute joy to both type and game on vs your standard membrane keyboard. This model in particular uses cherry mx Black switches these switches are non-tactile, non clicky, linear switches. There are many guides on the internet explaining the difference between the various mechanical switches but it really comes down to a combination of personal preference and environmental considerations.
Great keyboard well worth the price but cheap wrist rest.

Summary: I've had the keyboard for a while now, upwards of nine months and it has been a real joy to use. I enjoy the quasi-macro's and media keys that are all great features of a regular keyboard with the feel of a mechanical key set The software is basic but very functional. The keys illuminate for late night gaming and low light movie watching and can be set to a brightness level to suit your tastes.
