  • Summary: This set is a fantastic addition to Microsoft's line of input devices. For $99 bucks you get a top quality keyboard and a wireless optical mouse and receiver. This might seem a little steep to the average user, but trust me, with Microsoft you get what you pay for. This isn't a cheap product. The build quality is very high and driver support is second to none.
  • Pros: Free your desktop from wires and clutter, Optical technology means no mouse cleaning, Battery life is great (Rechargeable batteries recommended), Keyboard is super comfortable (Once you are used to it)
  • Cons: No side buttons on mouse, Not really for pro gaming

  • Conclusion: This product is perfect for those who want a "techish" style in their lives without having the boldness of the Optical Blue Wireless products and do not want to spend the money for the Bluetooth Desktop. It’s almost unfortunate with all the new options available in the mouse line that only metallic grey finish was available, but this color probably appeases a larger crowd then the rest.
  • Pros: Enhanced Optical Technology, Nice Color/Design, Longer Battery Life, Tilt Wheel
  • Cons: No Real Keyboard Updates, Not Bluetooth

  • Conclusion: This product is perfect for those who want a "techish" style in their lives without having the boldness of the Optical Blue Wireless products and do not want to spend the money for the Bluetooth Desktop. The keyboard design was debuted by Microsoft in late-2002 with others such as the MultiMedia keyboard.
  • Pros: Optical Technology, Nice Color/Design
  • Cons: (Mouse) Scroll Wheel, (Mouse) Only Three Buttons on Mouse, Not Bluetooth
