"Not for Gamer!!!!"

CNET
18 January 2005
  • Pros: Looks cool. Good for typing!
  • Cons: Not for a Gamer. When playing 3D first person shooters, the keyboard forgets that certain key is pressed and you just get stuck or you have a feeling like you hit the invisible wall. You have to release a key and press it again and it's very annoing!!!

CNET
8 January 2005
  • Pros: Mouse is great. Keyboard has lots of fun buttons.
  • Cons: If you play any games, do not buy this keyboard. The fact that you have to re-press keys instead of just holding them down is both annoying and frustrating. I have not found a solution to this problem on any technical forums.

CNET
11 June 2004
  • Pros: The keyboard feels excellent, nice response, the scroll wheel on the keys actually is a nice feature, the scroll wheels have a much nicer feel-- smoother and softer, I like being able to program in the "My Favorites" bottons
  • Cons: BIGGEST GRIPE: What in the hell was Microsoft thinking when they authorized the 5.0 version of the Intelipoint software WITHOUT THE ABILITY TO MAP PROGRAM SPECIFIC COMMANDS TO THE MOUSE BUTTONS?!?!?!?! That was the best feature I have ever seen in an MS p

"range = 3 foot UNIMPEDED view"

CNET
30 April 2004
  • Pros: tremendous mouse - tilt wheel KILLS. keyboard very comfortable.
  • Cons: horrible range, 6 month battery life = wussie range. MS says it is 3' but the transmission MUST NOT BE BLOCKED at all! even a sheet of paper blocks the transmission & the mouse must be pointed almost directly at receiver to work. I would rather re-cha
