Summary: Microsoft wireless in general is a bit over-rated (in my experience of keyboards and mice anyway) - they just don't seem to have the forte in this technology area. Logitech seem to be relatively better although not always perfect. This wireless keyboard/mouse combo served a good 18-month or so and disappointing that it couldn't provide more mileage (not unusual to expect 3+ years of trouble free service from such computer peripherals).
Summary: well... its not a bad set, really soft and all but its really annoying.. the reciever is soooo massive with a very long cable you will think it was the 80s. The reception is horrible you almost have to glue the reciever to the keyborad to make it recieve without missing any keys you press... i guess i got an old model.
Summary: I bought this on the back of some decent reviwes & i have to be honest & say that i'm dissapointed with this item. The mouse 'sleep mode' is a bit annoying & feels un-needed given that it's the 1st wireless mouse i've used that has this feature, keyboard seems to miss key hits if you type too fast (i'm not a fast typer!). Overall i'd say this keyboard & mouse set will be ok for low useage, but if you intend to use this regularly spend the extra & get a better one.
Summary: Despite being such good value on first use, as its easy to set up and both mouse and Keyboard are ergonomically good, slowly you start to realise that you should have spent a bit more on your wireless Keyboard and Mouse. Indeed, mine has completely stopped working now, conveniently one month after the one year warranty ran out.
Summary: Very pleased for the first two days but then it has got worse and worse. Like other reviewers I am suffering from missed key strokes however slowly I type. Unfortunately it was a present so cannot return it - I wonder if anyone can solve the problems. It does tell you in the booklet about the sleeping mouse and I find it no problem, just a click instead of a wiggle.
Summary: I discovered soon after purchasing the unit that it very frequently missed letters, missed spaces, and sometimes put in many letters instead of one. In reading through other purchasers' comments to try to find out if others had had the same problem I found that they had and, as indicated in several replies, I found that the unit works perfectly well if one places the keyboard right beside the radio remote!
