User Review

Walmart
5 February 2008
  • Summary: I didn't care for the keyboard. I am a transcriptionist for a living and a lot of the keystrokes weren't registering, so I would have to go back and either throw in the missing letters or be slowed down by an extremely long spell check to have the errors fixed later. I ended up returning it after giving it a day of use. Might be better for people who are casual computer users if speed and accuracy is less important.

Worse keyboard and mouse...I hate it and might be a fake one

Mel, Amazon
14 January 2012
  • Summary: One of the worse keyboard and mouse i have ever used. It was not even in its original packing. The seller told me that its a retail pack so its not in its original packing. After a month the mouse and keyboard started playing around. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS KEYBOARD AND MOUSE. I coudnt be bothered to send it because of the return postage cost.

One of the worst wireless keyboards ever

Michael Man "MSS", Amazon
5 January 2012
  • Summary: Ergonimically it looks good and feels good. But there is where the benefits end. Battery life is woeful. The mouse needs new batteries every few weeks. The range is awful, which is just as well they put the receiver on a big brick at the end of a long cable. If the keyboard and mouse isn't parked in front of the receiver then forget it. This is not what one would expect from a Microsoft keyboard and mouse. There are so many better options out there.

Make sure you have a good suply of batteries

  • Summary: Recieved this keyboard and mouse combo bundled with a new desktop in early August. With only moderate home use, I am on my FOURH set of batteries for the mouse, and second for the keyboard. Even with a fresh battery, the keyboard drops characters or adds keystrokes. I had a Logitech combo on my old setup, and made the mistake of discarding it with the pc. Once have finished this review, I will searching Amazon for a nice new rechargable Logitech setup.

awful

annieG, Amazon
10 December 2010
  • Summary: This is my first wireless keyboard and when I started having problems, I thought it was my fault - until I did a bit more research than I had done before I bought it. The problems I was having with 'sticky' keys and not being able to type anything correctly were pretty common. Everything took about 10 times longer than it should because I had to type, then correct - some characters taking 8 or 9 tries before actually registering. I gave up.

Poor Range, Poor Build Quality, Poor Product

Dav-id83, Amazon
12 September 2010
  • Summary: I've only had this K&M for 4 months I think this keyboard & mouse's build quality is rather poor even from Microsoft I cant say any good things about this product because the reciever is the main issue I was more frustrated with nothing hardly working like it should in the end I bought a new Logitech brand K&M because my last one I never had any problems with.

I hate it.

Amazon Customer, Amazon
3 August 2010
  • Summary: This is not wireless... if you want it not to lose any characters while you're writing, you have to stay VERY close to the receiver, like 20 cm (and even then it's not perfect). Also some times it gets stuck on a letter and presses it for 10 seconds and you don't even realize it and you're typing for nothing. This is also annoying in games, and it happens quite alot (with new batteries).
