Best wireless combo I've found yet
Mark T., Newegg
6 October 2015
Summary: This is the 2nd set I've bought. First set lasted over 5 years. Finally succumbed to normal abuse.
Pros: Proper 5 button mouse with a button on each side. Uses all AA batteries, keyboard has volume buttons. Keys and mouse function well!
Cons: Function keys aren't grouped in quads like normal. Takes too long to figure out where F5 for refresh, or game keys like quicksave are. Scroll wheel doesn't roll in notches. It's fine for web scrolling, but TERRIBLE for list selection like in games, or drop down lists.
Summary: if it wasn't for the mouse and its scroll wheel I would give this product a 5 egg review
Pros: this keyboard is by far the best keyboard I have ever used. The response is great and it is comfortable enough to use every day, but doesn't look bad either. the membrane switches feel comfortable to type on yet give a good techtile feelfeel.
Cons: that included mouse does require additional work on Microsoft's behalf. The scroll wheel does not click Nor give resistanceresistance when scrolling. this makes playing games such as watchdogs minecraft excetera very difficult to switch weapons or other tools
Excerpt: I ordered this set mostly for the keyboard and I have not been disappointed. The keyboard is easy to use and has a lot of "extra" fast keys. I have enjoyed not having a wire attached and the standard keyboard is so much easier to use than those scaled down models.
Excerpt: Love this wireless keyboard. This is my second wireless keyboard. First was an HP. I like it too, But Mircrosoft has out done themselves with this one. So easy to type. Typing is smooth . Bought this in March 2014 and I still have not had to replace my batteries.
Excerpt: Product is Microsoft and unlike some other Microsoft keyboards I have used, the feel is actually right on. It did not perform smothly over a distance of less than 10 feet from the TV, but this could be interference from other devices. It does fine at my desk.
