Excerpt: I ordered this set mostly for the keyboard and I have not been disappointed. The keyboard is easy to use and has a lot of "extra" fast keys. I have enjoyed not having a wire attached and the standard keyboard is so much easier to use than those scaled down models. The mouse is not exactly what I expected and it has some issues - mainly, it doesn't want to work all the time and it is extremely heavy, but as I stated earlier, it is the keyboard I was mostly...
Excerpt: Love this wireless keyboard. This is my second wireless keyboard. First was an HP. I like it too, But Mircrosoft has out done themselves with this one. So easy to type. Typing is smooth . Bought this in March 2014 and I still have not had to replace my batteries. The extra palm board is very comfortable and my wrists do not slip done the keyboard. Mouse is good, too. Still the same batteries. Only thing I wish they had was a shut off button on the mouse!!!
Excerpt: Product is Microsoft and unlike some other Microsoft keyboards I have used, the feel is actually right on. It did not perform smothly over a distance of less than 10 feet from the TV, but this could be interference from other devices. It does fine at my desk. On the other hand, Staples showed the product was delivered to what they called "local delivery" last Thursday, but it was not delivered to my house until the following MONDAY.
Excerpt: The microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse are so liberating. I am able to do work on my laptop at home without having to be sitting right in front of it!! It also works great with Windows 8.1! It just recognizes it and off to work we go. Truly plug-n-play! The battery life is very good. I had another wireless mouse that needed the battery changed every month. I also like the quick access buttons on the keyboard. Nice touch with the built-in wrist rest.
Pros: Comfortable Design, Easy To Set Up, Fast Response, Highly Compatible, Long Range, Quiet
Excerpt: Affordable and comfortable. I love this keyboard, if it weren't so glitch ridden. I often have to disconnect from my Windows 8.1 machine as it loses connection or locks up and stops registering keystrokes. Needs a firmware/driver update.
Excerpt: Complements my PC which already has Microsoft 3000 Wired Keyboard. Depending on my requirement, I can easily transition from wired to wireless keyboard and mouse without having to find the function keys and shortcuts on my wireless keyboard. With the unified USB receiver the new setup freed an additional USB port on my PC. I would have liked it even more if the USB receiver were the nano receiver type.
Pros: Comfortable Design, Easy To Set Up, Fast Response, Highly Compatible, Quiet
Excerpt: Would like a little heavier weight keyboard but I am probably the exception. Most people like light and portable. Would also prefer taller heavier keys like old wired microsoft I used for years. But getting used to this one. Love the Microsoft feature of CTRL shortcuts being printed on keys for quick reference. I have not found that feature on any other brand and only on a few Microsoft keyboards. No noticable lag time in keyboard or mouse. Two users happy with purchase.
Pros: Comfortable Design, Durable, Easy To Set Up, Fast Response, Highly Compatible, Long Range, Quiet
Excerpt: This is like the one I had before except it seems the keys are a different finger width than the other one. I am having to get use to it with many typing errors. I just wish it had feet on it to slant it up.
Excerpt: I have 2 of these Mouse & keyboards. So far I haven't had any problems with either one. I have been using the 1st one for over a year now. The keys are easy to read & have the shortcut keys labeled on the front side which is great. The labeling for the "F" keys are a little hard to read. They are in small blue print The mouse is a little heavy but fits my hand very comfortably.
