Desktop 3000

  • Summary: I like the the fact that the mouse is laser instead of optical. That means no bright red light and it tracks better. Installation was simple since I was replacing the Microsoft Desktop Elite. I just changed the type of product the software controls. The receiver has one USB connection whereas my previous one had the PS2 and USB and I had to buy an adapter to make it one USB connection. I would have liked the keyboard to tilt up a little more, but it's not a deal breaker.

A very good deal

Overstock
23 May 2010
  • Summary: Got the set within 4 days of ordering, had to get batteries since it was a refurb and did not come with any, but once installed and plugged in, computer recognized the hardware and just starting working within a minute. Mouse does not have any light or laser or LED that lights up from underneath to indicate that its working, but the curser moves and it is working.
