Summary: $273 is a LOT to pay for a keyboard and mouse, and I don't think this set is worth it. Priced at around $100 it would be a much better deal.
Pros: Pretty cool little keyboard and mouse. Built-in USB hub is a nice touch. Automatic backlight is slick. Good range, good response. Mouse is flawless. Rechargeable batteries are included. Drivers installed perfectly in Vista.
Cons: Batteries die pretty quickly. My other Microsoft wireless keyboard/mouse last over a year before needing batteries. This lasts only a few days before needing charged. I cannot get the "trackpad" on the keyboard to work properly. It is VERY unresponsive, and seems to work when it wants (which is r...
Summary: The battary life of the key board is surprising long. I have been using it for more than 2 weeks with 3-4 hours normal usage per day. The backlight is turned on once a while when I accessed it after a long idle or covered the senser accidently. But the edge's battery tends to run forever.
Pros: I have owned both microsoft 8000 and logitech edge keyboards long enough to make a few comments. Apparently more reviewers favor logitech edge over 8000. I understand why so. but I would say that is somewhat misunderstanding. You really need to play both of them for quite sometime to make fair co...
Cons: The "ESC" key among other touch keys could be mis-fired initially. I am used to it now. The mouse is for both left and right hands so I dont like it very much. However, its performance is just as good.
Summary: The function keys on top are very sensitive, you barely touch them and they work. I read somewhere that they were too sensitve but it doesnt bother me. they said they would reach for a number key and accidently hit one of the functions keys.
Pros: Looks Awsome, Quiet, ctrl + space button work at the same time unlike my last keyboard. touchpad thing on the right of the keyboard is very nice. Works just like a touchpad on a laptop. The included mouse works fine.
Cons: There is no sleep button. It can't wake the computer from sleep, I'm guessing its because it's bluetooth. Very expensive.
Summary: I spend a lot of time lying in bed and entertaining myself with the help of my computer. Sometimes I am in the dark. I watch films. I find wires get in the way of things. If I am typing in adult chat rooms sometimes it is too dark to locate the keys.
Summary: I've had this now for a couple of months, and am generally pleased. Had I read the comments from P.A.Farmer before buying it though, I probably wouldn't have done and that would have been a shame. Some of the comments aren't exaclty 100% accurate.
Summary: I bought this keyboard for the following features: - no numeric keypad - so my mouse (right-handed) is closer to my right shoulder, - wireless -ergonomic key layout, and additional bonus I discovered is that the keys are beautifully soft-touch.
Excerpt: After parting company with our previous computer to enable faster processing speeds for Football Manager 2008 my wife and I decided that it was time to invest in a new keyboard, We opted not to buy a new keyboard at the time of buying the computer as the one we already had was simply superb,...
Summary: Optik sehr gut nahezu edel, Hinkucker Verarbeitung gut - sehr gut Qualität sehr gut Einziger Nachteil, bei mir ist häufiger nach PC Neustart ein neuer Verbindungsaufbau (manuell) notwendig. Tastenbeleuchtung sehr gut, bei Tageslicht nicht immer gut erkennbare Beschriftung.
