Excerpt: I have used a variety of wired and wireless keyboards but I really like the Microsoft 5000 wireless keyboard - great appearance, great touch to the fingers and great tactile feel. For the price, this is the best deal around even at twice the price.
Pros: Comfortable Design, Durable, Easy To Set Up, Fast Response, Great Keyboard, Rock Solid In Use, Very Competitive Price
Excerpt: This is the second comfort keyboard combo I've owned. The updated features makes it very user friendly. B & H Photo had the best price I found with quick and easy website to navigate has made this a very positive purchase.
Excerpt: Just the right blend of features, functions and feel! I've used keyboards from the other big maker of computer peripherals of various shapes and prices. I didn't want a cheap, under-featured minimalist keyboard and mouse that had just the basics, but I also didn't want to go overboard with a high end, padded monstrosity that's like a huge Swiss Army Knife. This keyboard and mouse hits the sweet spot.
Pros: Comfortable Design, Easy To Set Up, Highly Compatible, Long Range
Microsoft Wireless Comfort Desktop 5000 Keyboard & Mouse

Summary: I have been buying Microsoft peripherals for years because I have always thought they are better made than the competitors (Logitech). This keyboard and mouse are no different. The keyboard has responsive keys and I do like how the foot stands are more sturdy than the typical folding stands. Just be careful not to throw the foot stands away! They are in the box and how they are packaged makes them look like they are not actually part of the keyboard!
