Summary: Bought this about three months ago and now the left-side of the keyboard is dead. I just ordered a new Logitech keyboard to replace it. If it lasts longer than three months, it's a better bargain.
Summary: I wanted a wired keyboard to use with my ASUS EEE PC, but didn't want to pay an arm and a leg. The Microsoft Wired Keyboard 500 was just the answer -- inexpensive, excellent quality, true plug & play. Everything I hoped for, at an excellent price.
Summary: Everything from milk (cereal) to alcoholic drinks. I think as long as you don't dump an entire glass on it, it will keep working if you shake it out right away. The buttons are easy to push and don't make a lot of noise, it's not big, odd shaped or complicated. It's got your basic stuff like print screen, home, edit, delete. It also has basic volume and pause/play buttons, email, home/new page, calculator and some other buttons I don't use up top.
NOT USB! (just in case you are going by the search function)

Summary: bought this thinking it was a USB keyboard (why shouldn't I have when it appeared in the top group when searching for "USB Keyboard"!). so, decent enough keyboard but no use at all. i could buy an adapter, but no idea if it will work with a cheap adapter or would need the more expensive active adapter. best option, buy another keyboard, but make sure it is usb this time!
Summary: The price of this keyboard is not an indication of its quality. I have been using it for a few years and it has really held up. What I like most about it are the media keys which allow me to easily Pause and Play what I am watching as well as to Mute or lower/raise the volume. My only problem is it doesn't have Fast Forward or Rewind keys.
Summary: I purchased this keyboard a year or two back for my parents and although it has served them well, being used rather infrequently, I would have to agree that the feel is quite sloppy and lightweight as mentioned by other reviewers. The pricier Logitech keyboard that I use has a much more solid feel. For heavy use this makes a big difference.
