Good with some flaws

Kyle L., Newegg
23 August 2010
  • Summary: It should have a Windows key on the right side of the keyboard as well. Also, for some strange reason, the Windows key is disabled when I have my third set of macros set.
  • Pros: The keyboard is a pretty major upgrade from my previous Saitek Eclipse (very first version). Mainly because of the Anti-Ghosting. Some people say that it is more then needed, but not everyone is built the same. I use ESDF instead of WASD and I use the arrow keys in some games. Most keyboards have very selective anti-ghosting, but this keyboard fixes most of the problems I've had. The keys feel pretty good and the macro buttons work well.
  • Cons: The biggest problem I have with the keyboard is the left Caps Lock key. It is too close to the "A" key and I continuously accidentally hit the Caps Lock key. On other keyboards such as my laptop, there is a space between them or the key has a space that is half its normal height. The other problem I have it the wrist rest. I am not a fan of any wrist rest and sucked it up when I got this one since I knew it was not going to come off. But that aside, the wrist rest has...

Easy to install and looks great

Daniel L, Amazon
5 March 2014
  • Summary: Wanted a relatively entry gaming keyboard with LED lights. Comes in good packaging, looks and feel great. Works as it should. My only issue is that the keys: Caps Lock and 'A; is really close together and i always seem to be mis-pressing them two. My solution was to stick a noticeable sticker on the Caps Lock key and it was sorted. Still a good keyboard either way!

good but not perfect

L. Erskine, Amazon

  • Summary: I am very pleased with the X4 keyboard it is a lot better than any keyboard i have had before the keys feel very nice to touch and seem to be cushioned. However their are a couple of keys that seem a bit rattley namely the "E" and the "3" keys. Also the "f" and "t" of the shift key do not light up. Thekeys do seem a little small so some touch typers with large or chunkey fingers may find typing a little uncomfortable.

Its great!

Luis Enrique Mak Shen, Amazon

  • Summary: A very nice keyboard it has a good weight, the key light up nicely in the dark, in the day you don't even need to turn on the lights you can see perfectly. The only thing that i don't like its that the key are not separated enough so i had to get used to a different layout other than that this keyboard is great, perfect value for money!

Good Keybeyboard

Karl, Amazon
13 May 2013
  • Summary: I have had this keyboard for over a year now and i bought it from here too, i'm using it now. The keyboard it self is amazing. The back-lighting for the keys helps out alot when you are gaming or typing in the night because you can re-position your finger on the key without pressing all the keys to get to your key. My biggest downfall was the space bar. The keys are very stable but the space bar is a little bit weird when you rapidly tap it and it makes a loud sound too.
