Excerpt: My old ergonomic keyboard finally went kaput and I wasn't sure about a new one. However, I really like this one! The padded wrist rest is wonderful. I will never go back to a regular keyboard!
Excerpt: I have used this model keyboard for at least 6 years. I wore out my original one and decided it was time for a new one. I was very glad they still make this model. I am a programmer and work 8 - 10 hrs a day on it and love it. When I have to work on a standard keyboard for any length of time my hands and shoulders get tired very quickly. Not so with this keyboard. It has a quick touch to the keys, is quiet and responsive.
Excerpt: This is my second 4000 keyboard so that should mean a lot. It is comfortable to use and the split makes it so easy to type. I cannot put up with the cheap flat keyboard provided with the computer.
Excerpt: This is the second Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard I have owned. After several years of nearly daily use, one of the letters started sticking on the old keyboard and needed to be replaced. After having used this keyboard, I could not image going back to a "traditional" style. Wrist Pad rest is very comfortable. The seperate numeric keypad is esential for my work as I am frequently entering data into spreadsheets and access databases.

Excerpt: I was recently diagnosed with carpel tunnel and my dr had suggestion purchasing an ergonomic keyboard when I work on my laptop at home. It took a couple of days to get used to it but now that I am PAIN FREE when I type there is no way I could ever go back to a "normal" one. Definitely recommend if you have any pain in your hand/wrist/forearm/shoulders/neck or simply to avoid getting there.
