Worked Beautifully...Until It Didn't...Then it Died. (5 months)

Summary: Purchased 11/15; Used about 35 hours a week. I had to replace the battery in my mouse once (no bfd). Little to no delay in typing/mouse clicking. Works fabulously...when it works. For about the last three weeks, the little usb receptor thing isn't being recognized by my computer--I have to tap it and wait, tap it an wait, tap it and wait. Every morning. Every time the computer goes into standby. Sometimes for no reason at all.
Excerpt: I will not recommend this combo. The Mouse will lock up or slip while scrolling up or down. You scroll up/down with track button and when you let your finger go off it will auto scrolls back half of what you did. Very annoying. Waste of time and money.
Cons: Difficult Setup, Dont Buy, Scrolling Slips, Slow Response
Summary: The keyboard was OK but my big fat fingers just could not handle the "chicklet" style keys which seemed too close to each other. Press one key and you'd likely get 2 or more characters appear on the screen.
Pros: Cheap price but don't let that fool you. Do not order or you will be disappointed in the performance.
Cons: First the mouse: pure junk. The loudness of the mouse click will wake up your next door neighbors. Then there was the problem with the mouse tracking. I never could stop the jittery, sticky movements. All drivers were current but it was just a pain to get the mouse pointer to move to the correct position. I could plug my old Microsoft Explorer Mouse back in and it would work fine but trying to get this one to work was an uphill battle that I lost.
Excerpt: All Microsoft wireless desktop keyboard/mouse packages I have purchased over the past year (at least 4) have not lasted. Unfortunately, Staples will not accept returns after 14 days so I'm stuck with the purchase of a bad product!!
Pros: Comfortable Design, Durable, Easy To Set Up, Quiet
Summary: While there are volume up/down keys, there is no mute key.
Pros: Easy to set up.
Cons: The mouse is terribly inconsistent. Sometimes it moves the cursor as smoothly as my wired mouse, but most of the time it's jerky and twitchy, which is completely unacceptable. It also doesn't work on my couch cushion, whereas my Microsoft bluetooth mouse does just fine on it.
