Not as good as promised

Summary: I bought this new combo and does not work correctly. The keyboard still hangs and has huge delays (1-2 seconds) after typing a key. This prevents you from gaming. Keys are loud when you type fast, and so do mouse buttons.
Summary: Bought 2 due to rice and name , Microsoft. Both are junk. We both get typos beyond imagination. At first I thought it was me but then I found I wouldhaveto hit a character several times before it entered. Spaces also seem to not enter frequently.
Summary: I still have an original blue laser model 500 that is amazing, this is not that mouse, it is a piece of crap and the blue laser doesn't work on clear glass like the original blue laser mice, like the 500 that I hope never dies. the keyboard quit working after two months. Very not happy.
Excerpt: I purchased four for our office in the last year. One stopped working, one still works, one was warped, and the other never work right out of the box. Our computer tech told us that this was a very lower quality model. He recommend Logitech so will purchase that brand.
Summary: I hate typing on this keyboard. I have the usb receiver on my desk and the keyboard still cuts out all the time. I cannot make it through a complete sentence without this keyboard missing a letter or two. I have never experienced this with any other keyboard.
Summary: Mouse and keyboard. I tried new batteries, moving the part plugged in the computer to a different port, downloading new drivers, nothing worked. And the keyboard is only 2 feet from the computer! I junked it and got one from HP.
Excerpt: Just bought this combo. Mouse clicks are so loud I had to disable and use a different mouse. Keyboard keys are light weight plastic, finger tips slide off keys but if you manage to keep them in place and hit a character, there's a lot of noise ('reverb' from hitting keys).
