GR8 Value Plug n Play, Compact... GR8 for ppl with Carpal Tunnel!
17 January 2013
Summary: Excellent value. Super easy plug n play within minutes! Great for me as I have onset carpal tunnel in my wrist. With this compact/folding keyboard (USB wire/remote from my laptop) I can sit back and take pressure off my wrist. That's why I bought it. It serves the purpose nicely. Also, as I sit a bit further back from the laptop screen, it eases eye-strain. Awesome! Again, it also folds in two, so it's portable, laptop bag friendly! I'm very satisfied!
Summary: I got this because I was always looking for the smallest keyboard I could find with a 10 key to keep in my lap top bag for travel. I did not care for any of the roll-up soft keyboards, etc. that appeared fragile or not right for me for one reason or another. This keyboard was just what I was looking for and it works great. As some other reviews I have seen have commented it really would be nice if it locked in the open position so it stayed flat when open.
Summary: The keyboard was a lifesaver. I took it on a business trip where I needed to do considerable typing in my hotel rom. My laptop keyboard is cramped and uncomfortable. This folding keyboard gave me a full-featured keyboard that responds just like I was in the office. I will take it with me on all my business trips.
Summary: First off i bought this keyboard for my work, im a police officer who hates turning to reach my laptop so far away in my car to type. And so far this keyboard has been great. While im typing if i get a call i just fold the keyboard and move on. I only had 2 small dislikes with the item as follows.
Summary: Good typing feel, large size folding keyboard. Initially it will not open completely flat. Shortly later will rest flat naturally. Conveniently incorporated numeric key pad eliminates the need for a separate one. Priced on the higher end but compared to another equally well constructed keyboard lacking a numeric pad, price is competitive.
Summary: This folding keyboard works well. It folds in half to a small size (about 4" x 7"). Best yet, the main reason I got it is because it has the number pad off to the right of the Qwerty keyboard. Yay! I hate typing numbers off the top line of the Qwerty! As far as negatives: As other reviews have mentioned, the zero key next to the fold line almost always omits keying onscreen unless struck firmly, and the p key just below it often does as well, although not as frequently...
Summary: I love this keyboard. I carry it around with my netbook because I simply can't stand the little chicklet keys on them. On this keyboard, the caps lock key is replaced by the function key (caps lock is a function key shortcut). In addition, the keys corresponding to the pointer, bird, and ring fingers of the right hand are function key shortcuts for the arrow keys, home, and end. Once you get used to this, you'll never want to go back to a standard keyboard.
