Summary: I'm giving this two stars instead of one because technically it was my fault it broke... This would have been a great item but: 1. The keyboard only stays folded in the accompanying sleeve. The latches do not work. 2. When I opened the keyboard for the first time the clips/pins broke. 3. Due to #2 the keyboard will always have a 1 inch separation in a quite awkward place. This also causes the "p" key to be pressed continuously.
Summary: The folding keyboard is ideal for transporting in a backpack or briefcase. Keystroke functions take some getting used to. I've purchased two Matias keyboards. The cable port or receptacle on the first broke loose and on the second it was pushed back into the keyboard body when trying to insert the mini USB connection. The first keyboard failed within a year and the second one within the first week of use.
Great but not as durable as i thought after I had it for 1 year 4 months

Summary: While I was travelling for work I needed a portable full size keyboard, as I wasn't too keen on using a laptop keyboard. I purchased this keyboard since it fit my requirements. From first impressions this keyboard was great, it felt good to use and I thought it was pretty sturdy .. it allowed me to travel onto client sites with ease. Being able to fold the keyboard was great as it was able to fit in my laptop bag.
Summary: I really liked this keyboard. Same size, folded, as my Acer. Liked the keys response to pressure, easy to get going. After about two weeks the "y" key stopped responding, a few more days it was the left "shift" key, then the "T" So I sent it back, disappointed and still looking for something that works.
