Excerpt: By omitting the extra numerical keypad, the Ikey30 has full-sized keys, but is only 12 inches wide. Good solid feel to the keys, much better than the chiclet-like keys on some mini keyboards. There are a dozen or so extra function keys that pertain to iPad/iPhone functions.
Summary: All in all i'm happy i'd be much happier though if the above mentioned keys worked!
Pros: Tactile feedback is excellent it's a pleasure to use! Very solid construction not cheaply built.
Cons: The USB ports on the keyboard don't provide enough power to work so they are useless. The eject & sound volume keys don't work. It probably works fine on a mac but i'm using this on a windows machine. It's white.
Cons: Driver does not work with OSX 10.6 on my mini --function of keys is either not there (e.g., Eject) or unknown (Sound level). Most disappointing is that Macally seems to have stopped supporting it -- no mention of drivers on their site. Too bad. Mine is going back.
Summary: If you are considering this product buy it. I recommend it.
Pros: I love the apple style keyboard. I like the layout and that the keys slighty bigger and not as high. I have two Mac Book Pros and love the keyboards on them. I got this for work. I am a programmer and type all day long; I got feg up with the Dell keyboard supplied by the company. My hands hurt by...
Cons: When I type really fast a sometimes a hear wht soungs like loose change under the keyboard. It is hardly noticeable and does not effect the perfomrance in any way. It is white so it might not look clean for long.
Summary: This keyboard works with Windows. Don't hesitate to buy it for your PC just because it's "designed for Mac".
Pros: When my 1.4 Ghz Celeron Dell Inspiron finally broke at age 7, I decided I would build my own desktop. However, problematically I wasn't able to keep the Inspiron's keyboard that my hands were so used to. That's why my dad told me about this keyboard that he liked to use with his Macbook, since it...
Cons: Are you kidding? This keyboard is so perfect.
Summary: This keyboard has its flaws, but overall it's a solid keyboard that's lasted me many years.
Pros: I've had this keyboard for several years. It's held up quite well. The keyboard is a pleasure to type on. It feels very similar to the keys on my 2007 Macbook Pro. It also isn't too hard on the eyes.
Cons: 1) After being plugged in for awhile (perhaps 16 hours?) it bugs out and sends repeating signals. I've woken up many times before to my Macbook Pro making the system error sound very quickly and repetitively due to this glitch. However, it's a quick fix; unplug it and plug it back in. 2) Does not...
Summary: With or without remapping the keys, this keyboard works great with both Mac and PC. If you are going to remap the keys for a PC, it is a different experience.
Pros: The touch and response of the keys are exactly what I was looking for. Unlike other keyboards where the keys have a limited contact area with the spring, this keyboard has the maximum support needed. After hitting the space key for years it won't be wobbly and unresponsive.
Cons: I've read other posts about the blank key. It isn't just a blank key, but the key has no function in the keyboard. I used a key mapping software to find out which keys were being pressed, and the blank key has zero response. There was no signal being created by pressing that key. If you're going ...
