Poor magnets

JRB, reviews.logitech.com
2 April 2014
  • Summary: I ordered this logitech keyboard and have used it for the last six months with my IPad. I would not recommend this to a friend to purchase. I would have ordered the one with the complete case and not this cover style model. I find it to be cumbersome and the magnets do not hold it firmly. If you plan to only use it at your desk, it's OK but if you travel like me, buy a different model. Keep looking....

Logiteh iPad Air Keyboard

Russ, reviews.logitech.com
30 March 2014
  • Summary: We just bought our first iPad, an iPad air. We want to use it for photo storage while we are on trips. We didn't like trying to type on the iPad itself so clerk at Apple store recommended the logitech. We really like the way it protects the iPad, and the size of the keyboard. Everything was going well until we went into PHOTO and tried to add information to our photos. The Logitech won't do it!

Fatal Flaw

NBJ, reviews.logitech.com
15 March 2014
  • Summary: I love this keyboard cover. But both the Air and Mini versions have a fatal flaw. Both my Air and my Mini keyboard covers have broken at the power button opening of the case, it's thinnest point. The Mini is still securely held in place, at least for now. The Air would not stay securely held so the case is unusable now. The Air broke within a week. The Mini broke within a month.

Extremely uncomfortable working angle for Retina!

ganiwo, reviews.logitech.com
15 March 2014
  • Summary: This keyboard was designed before the Retina iPad Mini was released to the market and is NOT optimized for it. Angle is almost vertical and the magnetic lock is almost non-existent. Please look elsewhere.

Keyboard Splitting From Aluminum Cover

Notetaker, reviews.logitech.com
8 March 2014
  • Summary: I have loved this keyboard since I bought it about a year ago. I have recommended it to many people already and still use it daily. However, now the keyboard is pulling away from the aluminum cover on the sides from the force being exerted by the iPad on the groove that holds it up. Sometimes my iPad falls out now when I'm typing! Does anyone know how to fix this?

Don't buy, there are better solutions

eladleb, CNET
4 March 2014
  • Summary: Having the previous version of this keyboard in mind, I purchased the new version (for iPad air) without even considering the competition.
  • Pros: Nice to click, Thin and OK looking
  • Cons: Doesn't fit perfectly on the iPad (has a noticeable gap..), Magnets are not balanced at all, the top ones are too strong and the middle too weak.

What design flaw?

AnGeLZzZ, reviews.logitech.com
2 March 2014
  • Summary: Just purchased this keyboard for my iPad Air. It's perfect. iPad shuts down just fine, when I close it. Also turns on when I open it. Looks great, really feels like other part for the tablet. Also great typing feeling and useful buttons designed for iOS.

Bad design

jcrow, reviews.logitech.com
25 February 2014
  • Summary: Similar complaint to other reviews. I love the logitech kb cover for my iPad 2, so ordered some for the iPad Airs at work. The magnets clicked on fine and the bluetooth connected easily enough. However the cover does not close properly and does not activate the on/off feature on the iPad. It seems to be the rubber strip above the keys that prevents it from closing.

Keyboard cover for iPad mini

R2d2, reviews.logitech.com
24 February 2014
  • Summary: My keyboard stopped working. I tried charging it overnight and it did not charge. I purchased the keyboard cover in September 2013 att the Apple store.. I am going to try and return or exchange it. So far I am not very satisfied with this Roduct I will give it one more chance IF I can exchange it. Logitech should include some directions with keyboard short cut..
