Excerpt: So after using this keyboard and mouse for a long time I have to say I am very happy with it. The range was suitable for use for a home PC if you ever feel like sitting away from the desk or hook up your PC to the tv and veg on the couch while surfing all the while. The layout is the new type where the page up/down keys are no longer in a horizontal row but vertically placed so if that bothers you as I know it does some who prefer the old layout this will not be for...
Excerpt: We use this hooked up to a broken laptop that is wired into our TV for streaming Netflix. The cordless desktop allows us to sit on the couch 6-8 feet away and control the Netflix. It's perfect for this use and the range is much better than we expected from a wireless keyboard and mouse. The mouse is also really versatile, as you can pretty much use it on any surface -- the couch, your knee, whatever is handy. Great piece of technology!
Summary: I purchased this wireless keyboard/mouse combo because my keyboard from Compaq was sticking. This is the most silent and best feeling keyboard. Really increases my typing speed due to the soft touch of the keys.
Excerpt: I have had this keyboard and mouse for well over a year and it is still working great!! I have had NO problems with it and it was so inexpensive. It is the first wireless keyboard and mouse that I have used and I am sure there are more expensive/sophisticated ones on the market today, but this product has performed perfectly for my purposes and I am online practically eight hours a day and do surveys and play Facebook games and I have only replaced the batteries about...
Pros: This is a nice looking keyboard and mouse that work as advertised. Logitech has done their homework as usual. The keys are quiet and have a nice touch. The mouse, although a little heavy, works very well also.
Cons: The wrist rest that looks like it's detachable in pictures doesn't detach. I haven't figured out how to enter BIOS with a wireless keyboard yet, so I still keep a wired one for that purpose. The mute key should be separate from the volume keys.
Summary: After a few years of daily use this set is still working well and only ever needs batteries replaced. The letter on some of the keys are worn out but it used every day so this is to be expected I guess...missing my L, O and most of my A! Apart from that this is a great set and worth the money for sure!
