Excerpt: When working in a diagram program the wheel is erratic and does not work with the program. Sent an email to customer support, received email replies but no solution on how to fix the problem. Most likely will scrap this unit since I can't return it and buy a different keyboard. The wheel does not work with window resizing. I am sure I will not hear or get help with this problem.
Pros: Comfortable Design, Fast Response, Glides Smoothly, Works On Any Surface
Excerpt: I had this keyboard for about 1 year. Then I started having problems with keys not typing so I thought I had to change the batteries. Then it started happening more and more frequently. So I went and purchased another one. This one started not working a couple of days later. Now I am looking for something else. Shame I really liked this keyboard. It’s a pain in the butt to constantly wait for the keyboard to decide when it wants to work.
Excerpt: This is the second one of these I have purchased in the last 1 1/2 years. With the first one, the keyboard died, but I didn't have the needed info to get it replaced under warranty. So, I bought another. Within a week, the new one died, in the same manner. This time I had the needed warranty info! (This is a nice keyboard and mouse, when working. If you purchase one, be sure to keep the receipt for warranty!
Pros: Accurate Tracking, Comfortable Design, Fast Response, Glides Smoothly, Great Features
Summary: I HATE THIS KEYBOARD!! PERIOD I did not deliberately purchase this keyboard and NEVER would. Came with my new Dell XPS8500 (ordered sight unseen AND based solely on the Logitech name). I'm a huge Logitech fan and have plenty of their products, including speaker woofer combination, external speakers (2 sets) for each of my laptops. All very good. AND have misc cordless mice, and have actually worn out 2 desktop mouse keyboard combos.
Excerpt: I spent a great deal of time searching and reading reviews when I settled on this item. It was one of few that still shows you when the CAPS LOCK is on and that is important in my job. UNFORTUNATELY, 1 year later the imprint indicating which key is what letter has worn off of 19 of the keys.
Summary: When I first received this keyboard I was impressed by all it could do. However; After about a year of use, the buttons began to stick. I had cleaned the keyboard pretty often but decided to really clean deep. Sadly; it didn't help. After further investigation I found that the keys were catching on one another somehow. The second complaint I have is that the keyboard body is made out of a very shiny and easy to scratch plastic.
Summary: I am on my second one in less than a year. The letters come off very quickly if you use it all day every day. They replaced the first one as it was under warrenty and within 2 months the letter are already coming off. For the price w/ mouse it is a waste of money. Would not recommend it at all.
Excerpt: I have always used Logitech keyboards. In fact, the one that this one was suppose to replace, I had for years. Not even one week after getting this one, the keys started sticking. It's worse than when you first learn to type on a cellphone's touch screen, lol. Going back over and over and over again. Logitech dropped the ball on this series.
Cons: Design, Performance, Expensive, Build Quality, Difficult to Use
