Pros: Nice keyboard and layout. Nice mouse as well.
Cons: Right now, this keyboard/mouse combo is causing windows bleed through. What I mean by this is that if I have multiple windows open on the desktop, the under windows bleed through to the topmost window and this results in an unusable situation where you do not know if the controls on one window are linked to that particular window or whether the controls are linked to a different window. This makes this keyboard/mouse combo useless. This happens about 50% of the time a...
Summary: I HATE THIS KEYBOARD!! PERIOD I did not deliberately purchase this keyboard and NEVER would. Came with my new Dell XPS8500 (ordered sight unseen AND based solely on the Logitech name). I'm a huge Logitech fan and have plenty of their products, including speaker woofer combination, external speakers (2 sets) for each of my laptops. All very good. AND have misc cordless mice, and have actually worn out 2 desktop mouse keyboard combos.
Summary: When I first received this keyboard I was impressed by all it could do. However; After about a year of use, the buttons began to stick. I had cleaned the keyboard pretty often but decided to really clean deep. Sadly; it didn't help. After further investigation I found that the keys were catching on one another somehow. The second complaint I have is that the keyboard body is made out of a very shiny and easy to scratch plastic.
Summary: I am on my second one in less than a year. The letters come off very quickly if you use it all day every day. They replaced the first one as it was under warrenty and within 2 months the letter are already coming off. For the price w/ mouse it is a waste of money. Would not recommend it at all.
Summary: Bought this on Christmas Day 2012. The "unifying" receiver died today, December 2, 2013. I haven't even replaced the batteries yet and it's already dead. This product was awesome while it worked, but I am not impressed with a premium product from Logitech failing less than a year after purchase. I tested it on another computer just to make sure, and the Logitech software fails to recognize the receiver on both computers.
