Great Keyboard and mouse combo

Justin L., Newegg
9 September 2012
  • Summary: The reciever was in the front of my computer and couldn't survive a 30 lb kid hanging from it. Turns out it broke, which is what told me it was discontinued which also sucks. The MK710 seems nice enough though.
  • Pros: This is a very durable keyboard and mouse combination. I owned them both for about 3 years or so and never really had a problem with either. They have stood up to the test of my one year old child for the last year. The on/off switch also allowed me to turn it off and hand it to him while I watch...
  • Cons: They stopped making it.

  • Pros: It does exactaly what you would expect it to do.
  • Cons: I use my mice with both hands, this one is ergonomically correct for only your Right hand.

Great For A HTPC

Paul A., Newegg
20 May 2010
  • Summary: A great Keyboard and mouse combo, with exceptional range and battery life.
  • Pros: The mouse works on just about any surface including bedspreads, sheets clothes, bare skin, etc. The range is great. Battery life is off the charts. I use this combo with my htpc in my bedroom and I constantly leave the mouse on and have only changed the batteries once in a little over a year. The K...
  • Cons: Keyboard is rather large for my needs but fine for desktop use. If I was buying right now I would opt for the anywhere mouse with darkfield and unifying receiver.

It works

Scott G., Newegg
20 February 2010
  • Summary: I'm using this in an HTPC setup. In retrospect I would like to have more than one option for mouse input, such as a laptop style keyboard nub or touch-pad built into the keyboard. Managing two input devices in my armchair or on the couch can get unwieldy at times.
  • Pros: Great battery life. I don't know why it even had an off switch. I never turn it off, even when the system is powered down. Battery meter still reads a full charge. The mouse works on just about any surface; armchair arm, my leg, pillows, etc.
  • Cons: None to speak of.

Nice wireless kit

Anonymous, Newegg
10 February 2010
  • Pros: Both keyboard and mouse are comfortable to use. I do image editing with the mouse, and find it works well. The navigation buttons on the mouse can be accidentally bumped but are also nice for navigating Web pages. Software lets you configure everything. Worked with the mobo BIOS even before I ins...
  • Cons: A little on the pricey side. I used it with my HTPC until I got a dedicated HTPC keyboard/mouse, and the keyboard would occasionally stop working, requiring a reboot (Win7 64).

Very nice

kyle c., Newegg
6 February 2010
  • Summary: like i said, i dont type a huge amount. id buy again
  • Pros: I dumped a cup of coffee on my last keyboard and needed an immediate replacement (so i bought it locally not from new egg). I buy a ton from new egg, and just logged in to see what others were saying about this setup i bought at the box store. I noticed the lowpro keys at the store, and thought i...
  • Cons: the slim buttons do allow for a mis-type from time to time

Good Range, Quality, and Linux Support

Lisa M., Newegg
10 October 2009
  • Summary: I just bought a Panasonic TC-P54S1 from Newegg (Go Newegg!) and it is going into the living room. My PC is in my home office, around the corner from the new TV's stand. Thanks to a long HDMI cable and RCA wire extender, I can run dual-head and pipe video & sound from my PC right out to the living...
  • Pros: It works! Plug in the (thin) USB receiver and connect the batteries to the keyboard & mouse (batteries included!) Range: Right now I am over 10' away and going through an interior wall. Both keyboard & mouse are working fine, no missed keystrokes that I can detect. Quality: While I'm not saying t...
  • Cons: The keyboard's keys are full-sized, but the button press feel is like that of a laptop. They are also low-profile keys which is a little less comfortable, but makes sense on a keyboard like this. It's not terrible, but you may not be as fast on this as on a full desktop keyboard. Some of the spec...
