It's okay.

Jared A., Newegg
25 June 2012
  • Summary: Nothing much else to say, you get what you pay for.
  • Pros: Seems solid, Shiny, Comfortable.
  • Cons: The "Quiet-key" function wore off in about 2 months. It's actually rather loud now which is difficult because my PC is in my bedroom and angers the girlfriend about the "Clacking"

  • Summary: Good purchase. Not great.
  • Pros: Keybord feels great I love the wrist stand. My mouse is on my sofa arm and still tram very well on this surface.
  • Cons: Stupid drawings on the keybord buttons. Mouse tracker is on the side witch can get annoying at times. the sixth buttons has yet to be customizable in any game.

Heavy Mouse

Tex W., Newegg
13 April 2011
  • Summary: I bought this for the wireless interface and also for the multimedia functions. Every works great and I'm not going to return it (bought it at sam's). It's just a carpal tunnel danger when using this mighty mouse!
  • Pros: Keyboard has GREAT feel to it. It has 2 height angle adjustments (4 degree rais and 8 degree raise). Multimedia buttons, nice functions that are handy. Mouse feels comfortable, scroll wheel can have ratchet effect removed on demand for supar fast scrolling. Smooth laser reading. I have no problem...
  • Cons: Mouse is HEAVY HEAVY HEAVY. Laser reads smooth, but it is so heavy, even with a super silky mouse pad, I have trouble making slight moves with this thing because it takes so much effort to get it moving.

User Review

Bryan H., Newegg

  • Pros: Works well even without supplied software on Windows 7. pretty comfy on the hands and i like the "lighter" feeling keys. Decent software for programming macros, custom key binds, and setting up your mouse the way you like it. The mouse seems to work on nearly any surface.
  • Cons: The usb key used for the wireless connection is a bit weak feeling. I would recommend being careful with it. I use the extension that came with it to avoid breaking it.

Good set

Eric M., Newegg
1 February 2010
  • Summary: I honestly recommend this wireless desktop to anyone who needs a new keyboard or mouse. It only takes up 1 USB port for both and the dongle is so very tiny. I have only had a laptop for over a decade now (my last desktop ran Windows 98) and I purchased this when I built my desktop because I have...
  • Pros: I'll break it down by component: Mouse: Quite possibly the best mouse I have ever used, it has a micro-gear switch on bottom which allows you to have free scrolling or incremental, the side buttons are defaulted to media player controls but the back button works in my browser as well. The laser i...
  • Cons: Again broken down: Mouse: Not really a terrible con but some games I have (Valve's games most noticeably) do not seem to like the side buttons, I'm not sure if that is a setting I need to fix or not and is not the reason for taking off an egg Keyboard: The Keys are large and it is SET UP like a d...

Nice combination

Jason N., Newegg
29 January 2010
  • Pros: Keyboard and mouse feel natural. The keyboard takes a little more getting used to. Worked immediately in Windows 7 in BIOS and OS without having to do anything out of the ordinary.
  • Cons: I had initially put the USB receiver in the back of my tower under my desk, but the keyboard and mouse didn't work well not being able to "see" the receiver, so I had to get a USB extender and now they seem to work fine.

Not a bad purchase

Todd T., Newegg
9 December 2009
  • Summary: It would have been a little nicer if this used the tiny USB unifying receiver -- not that the included USB dongle is huge -- however that doesn't impact the performance at all. If the battery life is as good as is claimed, I will be quite happy with the purchase.
  • Pros: I had a specific need for a wireless keyboard and mouse, and these are working just fine. I happen to like the low-profile layout of the keyboard (although that is just a personal preference). Everything works as advertised. For pretty much the first time ever, I find the added keys (and function...
  • Cons: Only thing I wish were a little better is the middle-click of the mouse. That's something I use a lot, and it is not as responsive as I need it to be. I was, however, able to remap the middle-click function to the small key on the top of the side (the one that defaults to search) which works grea...

Very Nice

Anonymous, Newegg
7 December 2009
  • Summary: Keyboard does not light up. *cries even more* I bought this from OfficeDepot on sale this week.
  • Pros: Comes with Duracell AA batteries, better than cheap no-name cells. Thin keyboard, kinda feels like a notebook keyboard but the keys press further down. Actually has a Battery life indicator, showing how much charge the battery has remaining. The Wrist pad is nice, soft but not squishy. Mouse is a...
  • Cons: Mouse: The Eye/Laser should be in the center of the mouse. It is very poor design to have it on the right side of the bottom. As this make it a bit harder to move the cursor up and down accurately. I do not like the glossy finish on equipment these days. It shows off way too much dust and figure ...

Not bad, but a bit pricey

Ryan H., Newegg
6 December 2009
  • Summary: For a hundred bucks, I'd expect this thing to work from the other side of my house. Or do tricks or something.
  • Pros: Looks great and works pretty well. Comfortable, and great key sensitivity.
  • Cons: Mouse looses signal if more than 5 feet away, or if too much gets in the way. I use my comp. as a media center in my living room, and sometimes have trouble with signal from the mouse.
