Excerpt: It feels very plastic. The keyboard keys make a lot of noise when you use them. The mouse right click button clicks too easily when your hand is poised on the mouse. It did connect to my computer easily, but I am disappointed with the keyboard itself. There is no "cush" in the keys. I don't use my desktop PC as much as I use to so I did not want to spend a lot of money on the keyboard and the mouse.
Excerpt: First off, the wireless mouse has been great. It never sticks and I have no complaint. As for the keyboard, it sits two feet from the USB attachment, yet often does not respond, misses letters, freezes and requires being turned on and off, and if I am typing a long document, I continually have misspelled words or numbers because letters or numbers just don't show.
Summary: I have been purchasing Logitech keyboards and mice for almost two decades and been pleased with the products until I bought the K520 wireless keyboard combo. The keys are much flatter than the wired keyboards I'm accustom to, making it exceedingly difficult to do any speed typing....more like a laptop. Also upsetting is the more expensive Logitech wireless mouse that I had previously, will not interchange with the M310 that came with this combo.
Excerpt: I am on my second MK 520 wireless keyboard & mouse the first set was replaced by Logitech before the warranty expired..This one has the very same problem the first keyboard had the letters on the keyboard wear off quickly.. Good thing I type by touch & don't need to look at the keys since many of the letters are gone & its only been one year on this replacement.
Pros: Easy to Use, compatible, no software install
Cons: Quality, letters on keyboard wear off quickly
Excerpt: Purchase Logitech because I've had such good experiences in the past. Wasn't sure if I would like the keyboard layout but figured I could get used to it because I liked the feel of the mouse. Unfortunately, it's like typing on a laptop keyboard, cramped layout. The rounded style keys make it even worse, as it makes it easy for fingers to slide off and hit too many keys (and I don't have big fat fingers).
Summary: My son built me a new computer 4 months ago. I had a wireless keyboard and mouse made by another company with my other computer. So since I like the wireless option I decided to try it again only with Logitech. I have the same problem as I did with the other one. Mouse and Keyboard lock up and wont work. VERY frustrating. Guess I'll have to go back to the wired in type.
Summary: After purchasing this keyboard and mouse combo, I was very happy about the unifying usb. Using this key board is nice. It feels right and makes it easy to type. However, after using this for gaming and typing up documents it has been extremely annoying. I just bought this keyboard about 3 weeks ago and now it will lag and sometimes just not type what I'm trying to type. This is very disappointing, especially in games where you have to move around.
Summary: I bought Mk520 combo to replace my previous Logitech combo. In about 6 months, I stated to notice that left Ctrl key would not return up when pressed. Accidentally a stuck Control would result in funny situations, especially when typing fast. Never lost my work or suffered any other comparable damage, but finding myself in an avalanche of dialogs and menus was, to put it mildly, annoying. The further on, the more often Ctrl would stay pressed.
