Summary: I'm a hardcore Logitech fanboy. I use a G510 keyboard and G500 mouse on my desktop, and the Mx518 is my all-time favorite peripheral. That's why I was so utterly let down by this keyboard/ mouse combo, which my girlfriend and I use on our living room Netflix-binging PC.
Pros: Super-long battery life Doesn't break when you drop either the keyboard or the mouse Wireless (also a con)
Cons: The mouse is excellent, and can be used from any room in our apartment without a problem, but the keyboard? There's no polite way to say this: it's hot garbage. The crummiest range I've ever seen from a wireless input device. My girlfriend and I both grumble whenever either of us has to type some...
Cons: I have had this keyboard since September, 2014 and I am very disappointed. After putting in a new battery, sometimes there is no response and when it does work the lag time is slow at times on a daily basis. No caps lock light is a pain - I have no idea if caps are on when keying in passwords.
Summary: All in all, it is a poor keyboard and should last far longer than 6 months.
Pros: I got this keyboard about 6 months ago, and while I used it and the mouse, they were great! Pros: -Both the mouse and keyboard were very light -The mouse may not be the most advanced thing but its a good ole basic mouse and the tracking on it was pretty good. -The keyboard had options to open up ...
Cons: Cons: Heres where it starts to suck. -Some of the keyboard keys would just not work (including the enter and period key) and after opening it up, found no way to fix it as it was a problem with the conductive traces inside not registering the keystrokes. Even taking off the key and pushing in on ...
Summary: Hey Logitech, if you ever want me to buy another one of your wireless keyboards then you'd better put the keys back where they belong!
Pros: None at all
Cons: I will never understand why Logitech had to go and mess around with the keyboard layout. There are many of us that use the keyboard more than we use the mouse, so rearranging the keys, such as insert, home, end, p-up, p-down and the arrow keys -- BIG MISTAKE.
Pros: The price seemed right but clearly proves you get what you pay for this is no deal
Cons: The caps lock light goes on and off leaving you to wonder when you are in caps or not - really a pain in the rear when trying to type in a password and you do not know until refused that the caps lock is engaged
Excerpt: Its disappointing that this product comes from Logitech, whom I normally consider a top tier brand. The keyboard is a non-standard layout so you have to search for some of the keys when you need them.
Excerpt: this keyboard didn't work well for me. It skips keystrokes and sometimes just locks up completely. It has to be turned off and then back on for it to work, sometimes more than once per document. I have returned one set for an exchange already and plan to return this one too.
