Not a bad keyboard

Spencer O., Newegg
5 November 2014
  • Pros: I've been using this keyboard for the past two months, it and has served me well. The illumination really helps at night when I'm on the computer. Also a great price for a wireless illuminated keyboard for work.
  • Cons: The timer for the illumination is short, mainly to conserve battery strength, but it is unnecessary. Also the Bluetooth constantly lags out when I'm trying to type or simply playing a game (but maybe that's because i have a semi-cheap Bluetooth adapter.) causing my game to either not respond to when i type or it auto-locks and spams a letter I'm typing. There is no indication for how much battery i have left for the keyboard which is frustrating.

User Review

Kenneth W., Newegg
27 March 2014
  • Summary: My RMA is a replacement request. AFter I get the replacement, I may update my review.
  • Pros: Love the size and the back lighting. It's perfect for my application.
  • Cons: It doesn't work. I hooked it up, paired it with my computer; my computer recognizes it as a "Logitech K810" in my devices, but I couldn't type a single letter. It simply didn't work. I'm in process of an RMA.

Beautiful keyboard, but...

wolfmandim, reviews.logitech.com

  • Summary: Pros: 1. Elegant, stylish and comes with nice features. 2. Backlit keys make it a good tool in dark environments. Cons: 1. Software... Setpoint definitely not the appropriate software for it. The keyboard does not show in it. 2. You need to use both hands to press FN and Pageup or Page Down to move through pages. 3. Logitech should either include a bluetooth USB dongle, or make it a unifying devise. Such a waste!

Best keyboard, disappointing outcome

Wotme "wotme", Amazon

  • Summary: This is probably the best looking keyboard I have seen, the keys react just perfectly and I was really pleased with my purchase when I realise it kept losing its signal, then the battery wanted to be charged every day. Spending time repeatedly re- pairing the KB, remembering to charge it every day made impossible to keep it. As much as I liked it. I cant imagine this is normal, and maybe I should have asked for a replacement.

  • Summary: Unfortunately the supplier sent an American keyboard so this was returned. A UK version was ordered from a different supplier and is an excellent product. I would have preferred a keyboard integrated into a case for my tab 10.5 but Samsung did not do one at the time and the other generic option looked clumsy

Be careful to check what arrives!

AV Junky, Amazon
20 January 2014
  • Summary: Mine arrived in a box stating "UK layout," but was actually US layout on the keyboard itself. I did see another buyer make the same comment, so be warned! In general, the build quality was not what I was expecting, particularly considering the original selling price. Works as stated but felt a tad flimsy.

Some odd design features...so very nearly a great little keyboard

Mr. A. G. Watkins "Disappointed", Amazon
9 November 2013
  • Summary: As a portable keyboard you can use with three devices, this is a pretty good attempt. But there are a few design features I really don't understand or like. 1. No keyboard angle adjustment, it is too flat for (my) comfort. Surely some pop out legs at the back wouldn't have been too hard to add. 2. The Delete and Backspace buttons are right next to at the top right hand corner. I keep catching the wrong one. 3. No Home or End or Page Up/Dwn key.

integrated numpad would get 5 stars, Logitech please read!

P Lammer, Amazon
4 November 2013
  • Summary: This keyboard is really nice - good usability despite being tiny. Mine does not have the problems with the US versus UK layout that others have experienced. The styling seems to have been revised too, and for the better - the top row of function buttons is now against a solid black background, rather than what you see in the photos with a diagonal split part of the way along.

Good, but probably over priced

TomD, Amazon
30 July 2013
  • Summary: It feels and functions really nicely, and the layout is the "correct" UK keyboard layout (IMHO) and not the compromise of "where shall we move that key to so we can make that key bigger" that sadly almost all mini keyboards suffer from. Tried it with two Android phones, an iPad 1, an iPad Mini and two iPhone 4S (one on iOS 5 and one on iOS 6) and as a keyboard it worked well.

Thanks For Reading

  • Excerpt: In simple terms a keyboard is an input device for a computer. I'm actually using one right now to type this review. This "Logitech K810 Bluetooth Illuminated Keyboard" does have a few interesting features on offer the obvious being bluetooth connectivity (which has a few advantages over USB). However the bright illumination (which only activates when in use) actually works well as it automatically adjusts the brightness of the keys to any light.
