Pros: Love my keyboard, Its smaller, saves room on my desktop, lights up at night so no need for a light on when I don't want one. Works great! My husband had the same one and so I replaced my other more expensive and larger keyboard with this one.
Pros: Backlit keyboard great for typing on the road. the battery life is amazing as well even with led's being on. having 3 tethered devices at a time makes it very conveinient. i coupled this with a ram mount x-grip and keyboard holder for my car and its amazing.
Cons: more devices connected at a time would be nice.
Summary: If not for the connection issues, I would say this a great keyboard. I bought it because it was wireless, and the wireless is not stable at even 2 feet away from the bluetooth receiver. Other bluetooth devices have no problem staying connected to the reciever for hours at a time, while this keyboard will randomly disconnect. "Annoying" is an understatement.
Pros: Has 3 modes for 3 different devices. Battery life lasts long. Lightweight.
Cons: Bluetooth connectivity is horrendously unstable. Ive been using this keyboard for almost 6 months regularly and several times a week, sometimes as much as 4 times in one day the keyboard will not be connected to the computer. The blue light will stay lit and say its connected but nothing you can do will bring it back. "Well have you tried turning it off and on again?" does not help. You can remove the bluetooth device using mouse and add it back again but who would wa...
Summary: I wanted this keyboard as a living room keyboard (I don't want a built-in track pad). The features list was everything I wanted short of mechanical keys, but you can't have everything. I'm very disappointed to see such a nice keyboard have to be returned. The keyboard pairs fine with my iPhone. I tested my PC's Bluetooth adapter by pairing my iPhone with it and streaming some music, which worked fine.
Pros: Thin, great construction quality, great typing feel. The dynamic backlight is very nice and easy to adjust. The rechargeable battery is pretty nice too.
Cons: It won't maintain a connection to my Windows 7 computer. I'm using an Intel Wireless-AC 7260 with Bluetooth adapter. Researching the problem online, it seems quite a few other users have had similar problems with a variety of Bluetooth hardware. Quick rundown of the problem: I pair the keyboard using Logitech's instructions. Type in the pairing code, hit enter, and maybe once out of every 10 tries the keyboard pairs with the computer. I can use the keyboard for about ...
Excerpt: The Logitech K810 keyboard's versatility is beyond all expectations I had of the product. The ability to pair with 3 different devices allow more functionality of other devices allowing for a use in almost any environment. Since I have received the keyboard I no longer view my smartphone as just a phone. Because of the size of the on screen keyboard I would avoid using many of the programs available to our business.
Excerpt: This is a great slim and space saving Bluetooth keyboard. The keys are easy to type on and you can program a certain number of function keys to your liking. Backlit keys are nice if you type in a dim environment.Once in a while, the keyboard disconnects from my Dell Latitude laptop so I have to go through the process of re-pairing it but sometimes a reboot of my machine works.
Excerpt: With the elimination of a space-hogging numeric keypad, the resulting keyboard is narrow enough to sit on the closed cover of my 17" laptop's case with just enough room for a compact mouse. As a traveling CAD design engineer I can usually commandeer a large monitor but only minimal desk space, often in a dim corner of my client's office or production floor.
Pros: I've been using this keyboard for the past two months, it and has served me well. The illumination really helps at night when I'm on the computer. Also a great price for a wireless illuminated keyboard for work.
Cons: The timer for the illumination is short, mainly to conserve battery strength, but it is unnecessary. Also the Bluetooth constantly lags out when I'm trying to type or simply playing a game (but maybe that's because i have a semi-cheap Bluetooth adapter.) causing my game to either not respond to when i type or it auto-locks and spams a letter I'm typing. There is no indication for how much battery i have left for the keyboard which is frustrating.
Summary: How can I beg Logitech to create a version of this that has a mated mouse like the T630 (the mouse links through the keyboard) and have an RF unifying receiver version... Oh what heaven that would be for mobility and easy switching between devices... not to mention the pure comfort and small footprint they would use together.
Pros: I have been using this keyboard for several months and it is wonderful. My primary requirements were that I needed something wireless with great portability, and the backlit keys were a must because I have to work in many different lighting conditions. The unexpected benefit though was the tactile response from the keyboard itself. I sincerely LOVE using this keyboard and I can easily switch from using it between my Mac mini, my Dell Laptop and my hybrid mini-server. ...
Cons: It's Bluetooth only, which can be a headache at times with Windows systems, and it requires a separate receiver with many other computers. Seriously, if this were available in the standard RF wireless and was mated with a mouse, it would be THE perfect combination for me. I would love to use one of these at work, but I cannot connect Bluetooth devices at work.
