  • Summary: I am a long time user of other wireless Logitech keyboards and I really like them. I bought this to go along with my new Samsung TV. Unfortunately, while it works well with most of the basic TV functions it is not supported by many of the applications which run on the TV.

  • Summary: Possibly I have not found appropriate adjustment. The high sensitivity causes execution of commands that weren't anticipated.

  • Summary: I use mine for controlling a regular Windows 7 PC connected to my 55" HDTV - mostly to watch videos. I especially appreciate the pause/play key. Mine easily exceeds the 10' range claimed - I routinely use it at about 14 feet and have used it at 20 feet on occasion.

Egg on my face

Curtis N., Newegg
28 February 2015
  • Summary: It may be that the regular retail packaging calls out the fact the receiver is included and its location. With a refurb there is no print material and the box is generic, so I can understand how a lot of people can miss this. Regardless-a good buy on a good keyboard.
  • Pros: Keyboard arrived as ordered. Nice convenient sized unit. USB receiver can be stored on the battery compartment lid so it remains with the unit when not in use. So yeah, after finding this out it actually is a positive attribute to the wireless keyboard design.
  • Cons: USB receiver is hidden in the battery compartment door. After not finding the receiver I popped open the battery compartment thinking it would be inside. Still missed it! It was clipped ON the removable door and not inside. I get it now! Maybe just me-but they did a good job of hiding it.

  • Summary: I got a refurb for $25, for the price I can over look the Cons, but wouldn't pay full price for it.
  • Pros: -Cheap -USB Wireless(Sometimes Bluetooth can be a hassle or PC might not even have it) -Small -Lightweight
  • Cons: -Not backlit -Small trackpad -Very sensitive trackpad thinks I am trying to drag or click -PC off/on, PC Lock, Home, Music buttons on top don't work (might be the MoBo) (Worked on 2 of my 3 PC's)

Non-Standard Key Functions

Robert C., Newegg
22 February 2015
  • Summary: Nice keyboard for HTPC for the price. Solid Range, with On/OFF switch and trackpad. If you are a keyboard person who uses shortcuts, etc, the non-standard combinations to use standard keys will slow you down.
  • Pros: Good Range On\Off Switch Small Size Trackpad
  • Cons: Non Standard Key combinations for Function Keys, Scroll keys Small Enter Key

The Best HTPC Keyboard available

Timothy D., Newegg
22 February 2015
  • Summary: As far as I'm aware, this is the best device to control your HTPC with, and it's cheap too! I only wish the build quality and features were a little more robust.
  • Pros: Easy to use, comfortable and useful shortcuts for Windows 8. Perfect for my use controlling my HTPC when a remote control won't do the trick. Used to use a Logitech Dinovo mini for this purpose, but that was junk compared to this, and it's so much cheaper too!
  • Cons: Ideally, it could use more custom functionality to assign hotkeys, backlit keys and separate, more distinguished buttons for navigating Windows 8 (charms bar, app switching, etc). Currently these keys blend right into the other keys. They're so convenient, they should be separated so they're easi...
