Excerpt: I used Logitech K400r for 4 days and it’s got some good points but it’s got some serious issues. No dedicated PG up, Down, Home, End keys. Have to press FUNC to use PF keys. Highlighting large block of text with touch screen. I’ve had the Adesso WKB-4000US for years and it works great. I’ve had two but they break after 4 or so years so I wanted to try something else. I’m returning the Logitech K400r and buying another Adesso.
Summary: Not happy that the item arrived in a bright white color - got this to use in my living room with the black smart tv, black DVD player - the key board is bright white. The item is displayed on the site in black, expected to have matching black. Works ok but not for all parts of the smart tv.
Summary: If you want this for controlling a smart tv, it's great. I love its size and integrated touch pad, but the arrow up key is where the right shift key should be. It's almost impossible to type efficiently on it as a result. I'm shocked that they didn't notice this. My iPad logitch keyboard is laid out wonderfully. Love logitech genrally, but this one is a problem.
K400 Does Not Seem To Be Compatible With Windows 7

Summary: K400 keyboard paired with my computer quickly and flawlessly. It was erratic in mousing. When I tried to open the Setpoint, there was no screen for the touchpad, only my Trackball. I removed my keyboard and Trackball from the Setpoint, and my computer went dead. The new K400 didn't work. The only thing that saved me was to borrow a USB mouse to get the computer to reactivate so I could reinstall/repair the Setpoint program. Now I'm up and running again.
Summary: I bought the keyboard was the right size and reasonably priced. My main gripe is the location of the shift and arrow keys could have been better placed. I think the touchpad could have been shifted higher making more room at the bottom of the keyboard to move the arrow keys under the touchpad. This would allow for a more traditional / practical location of the shift key as well as make room for a Windows and Menu keys on the right side of the keyboard.
Summary: I got this keyboard wanting to use it for my Samsung smart TV and/or Android. But boy was I was wrong. The keyboard is light compact and perfect footprint. But, the touchpad never worked. I tried all that is humanly possible to make it work even on multiple PCs with latest setpoint installed etc. etc. But I guess have to work with support to fix / return this keyboard.
Summary: I m writing this review from the K400 keybord. s one user pointed out, the shift key on the right is extremel nnoying. The trckpd doesn't work with Windows 8 multitouch gestures. Only two finger scrolling works. No pinch to zoom or nything of tht sort. lso, three weeks into using the keybord, one of my keys stopped working. Cn you guess which key tht is? I tried everything to resolve the issue, unplug nd put the usb in nother port.
Summary: Oh Logitech, you almost made a great product but committed one huge mistake. There is so much to like about this keyboard. I really like almost every single aspect of it with one exception. Anyone making a keyboard should have the basic layout of keys and stick to it, especially with the K400 which is not meant to be a primary keyboard. One should never have to consciously consider that a basic key is not where it should be.
