Summary: the K400 keyboard is something i always recommend and supply to clients when building or installing home theaters and HTPC systems. the ease of use and LONG battery life is great for the couch. i have never heard a single complaint yet and personally use one to control a new smart tv one of the best keyboards for couch use EVER
Excerpt: Really great so far. Wish it was back lit and that the arrow keys were under the track pad. Also I got sent the K400r (lucky me!) which has great gesture recognition on the track pad. Very small and light.
Summary: I know it isn't listed in the compatibility but this keyboard works like a charm with Ubuntu 13.10. Just plugged it in and it worked. The PC power button doesn't work but I believe everything else does. 13.10 even allows for multi-touch gestures. The keyboard is well designed and to those who slam it for not being good for touchtyping, what do you expect from a compact keyboard? I have it connected to a laptop that displays on my Plasma TV and it is perfect for that use.
Summary: This is a great wireless keyboard. It is not too big or heavy, yet it is sturdy enough to not feel cheap. I purchased it to work with our Samsung smart TV and Samsung Smart Blu-Ray player. Using the web browser is painful with the remote. The keyboard makes it a snap. It worked perfect right out of the box. This keyboard is about $80 in stores. I got the white one from Bestbuy on line for $20 new. Can't beat the price.
Summary: Very nice keyboard for my HTPC. Not too big and not too small perfect for the livingroom. I was weary about how big it would feel but its alot better than my lenovo keyboard rollerball mouse combo.
Pros: The USB receiver is attached to the battery bay cover. I figured it was going to be on the keyboard itself and had the same irked reaction as many others, thinking the USB extender was the only thing included in the Refurb besides the keyboard.
