Not quite what I expected but still pleased with it

Summary: I haven't actually tried to 'rinse;' the keyboard since purchase and writing this review. For some reason when I saw it was washable I was expecting it would be silicone and I'd be able to put it in the washing machine. In actual fact its rinseable in water but you have to be careful not to get any connections wet. It says best to wash every 2 weeks, but I never washed my old unwashable keyboard for years and I'm still alive to tell the tale.
Summary: I haven't had to dunk it yet but it's very easy to wipe clean with a damp cloth and using the little brush supplied. Nice product. Keys are further apart than old style keyboards so have had to adjust to hit them accurately - I type at over 90 wpm when I get going!
Summary: Young children are clumsy. Keyboards are unforgiving creatures. They tend not to like stick things too much. Nor do they like juice. They're not impressed with chocolate either And as for crumbs, my old one was like a toaster if I tipped it upside down. If you have kids, you know how often they need washing. Thankfully, you could throw this keyboard in the shower with them. I like to think I do my bit for the environment.
