Key broke after a week
15 August 2014
Excerpt: The keyboard is nice, it has quiet keys so you can talk on the phone while typing and the other person won't hear the keys clicking. Right away the "K" key was sticky, but I rarely use that letter so I could live with it. After a week however, the "J" key popped up, and a short time later it came off of the keyboard. I hadn't expected problems, so I had thrown away the packaging when I got the keyboard, which means I couldn't return it.
Excerpt: Within one month keys stopped working. I got far more satisfaction tossing this in the trash than returning it. Very disappointed in this product, other Logitech products I own are top rate. Pass this one by folks....
Excerpt: This keyboard is great when working with your computer in darker environments.I like to work at my computer in the evening with low lighting in the room and this keyboard provides constantly lit keys at three different levels. It also has an off setting for working in bright areas. The only negative is the keyboard is inactive during the black and white screen period during a pc startup after a power interrupted shut down.
Pros: Comfortable Design, Great Features, Highly Compatible, Reliable Performance
Excerpt: This keyboard looks great, but it will not work until you get into Windows. This means you can not access BIOS features if you need to and you can not boot into safe mode this is a well known problem once I started googling it, it goes back to 2009, and they still sell this keyboard.
Pros: Looks Great
Cons: Limited Compatibility, Unreliable Performance, Will not work for BIOS
Excerpt: I hate this ruct it wll notallow yout type at a decen speeand i slow to shw theleters typd causing misspelled wors and left out letters. Takes forever to complete a project. As you a see above I left it as I typed it and its very frustrating.
Cons: Slow to show letters, Unreliable Performance
Excerpt: I ordered a completely different keyboard, but when I got to check out and completed the order I realized I was going to get a completely different item. It was too late to stop the order. I went back to see if I could order the right one and then saw that when you tried to put the item in your shopping cart, the item in your cart was a different keyboard. It would have been nice if the system would have just told you the keyboard wasn't available.
Excerpt: I own a DELL Studio XPS 435t/9000 and i purchased this keyboard because i type at night. I installed this keyboard and could not get it to work for 2hrs. i then went on forums and saw that logitech and dell are having problems making this keyboard work. just dont buy it if u have a DELL Studio XPS 435t/9000 and a Vostro 220. as of today, no bios upgrade has fixed this problem.
Pros: It has brightness setting
Cons: Doesnt work on dell xps, Limited Compatibility, Unreliable Performance
Excerpt: Small office, use advanced Excel functions. Space bar and others did not always work so it will not work. I cannot check every word I type when i normally type 90 wpm. Unacceptable quality and reliability.
Cons: No shift key with numbers, Unreliable Performance
Excerpt: Pretty nice keyboard but I've tried it on three different brands/models of computers and on two of them the keyboard is not reconized by the BIOS prior to the operating system start. That means that you can' change the boot order, start Windows in safe mode or make changes to the BIOS. Other USB keyboards work fine.
