Excerpt: Costing anywhere from $100 to $200, the Logitech G19s could be for any PC gamer or for someone that just needs a lot of extra key binds. Offering 12 extra “G” keys is a big advantage for MMO players. A tiltable color LCD display offers a variety of display options. And finally a full RBG color keyboard with a supposed 16 million different color choices. Jumping straight in to the review, I want to explain the simplicity of this keyboard .
Cons: The LCD has much potential, but doesn't appear to have a great set of (included) software features/user-defined control in order to maximize. Required hitting numerous support & forum sites to realize additional LCD capabilities & useful applications, e.g. system info reporting, etc.---Still a work in progress.
Summary: I upgraded to this from a G510s. I chose this keyboard because while I liked the 510s, it's footprint was just a smidge too large. Since I don't use the G-keys very often, the trade-off from 18 to 12 wasn't a big deal. So far, I've been very impressed with the G19s. It has smooth and precise key actuation. I've never been a fan of mechanical keyboards, even for gaming, and this keyboard hits a true sweet spot in key height, travel, and resistance/responsiveness.
