Pros: LCD, LED lighting, Customized Keys, feels sturdy.
Cons: Thing over priced keyboard is about as bad as it gets. I now am the proud owner of two useless G19 keyboards that will just get thrown out. My first board had an issue where the v key didn't work. Right from the box. Tried to RMA it and got a run around. Stupid me, I go and buy another G19 because I did like it in the beginning. Now my 2nd one randomly crashes games, opens help windows, and ultimately makes it so I have to restart and lose everything. I am now running...
Cons: Failed after 11 months. I waited to long to contact Logitech and this keyboard only has a 1 year warranty. You would think a keyboard at this price would last longer or have a better warranty that this.
Summary: I had a G19 but had to RMA it because it was having an issue where the LCD would cause the keyboard to malfunction. Sometimes the screen would cause a crash like symptom while in use and you cant use the profiles or the macros and the LCD would start flashing. I RMA'd it and got back a G19s.Later on i now see it inherits the same problem as the G19. It seems to be a wiring issue with the wiring harness in inside the keyboard.
Pros: -Back-lighting of nearly any color you want. -Multiple memory profiles. -On board memory to store profiles. -Many different functions of the LCD display
Cons: -LCD Stops working and causes the rest of the keyboard, except the function to type, to stop working. -They didn't fix the problem from the G19 with the G19s. Its inherited.
Pros: Key layout is very nice and buttons feel solid. Screen is a nice gadget and lot of plugins are available such as TS and others. Extra key programming is a plus for game options or for certain desktop functions.
Cons: This was a replacement for my previous G510 that had a couple of button issues. This keyboard worked solid for a while but now right side keys are sticking (no coke spills in my office) and I have to wait 2 seconds after pushing the left caps button so it releases caps. If it wasn't sitting on my nice glass desk I would beat the * of it and hate using it now.
Summary: I bought this keyboard on February 6, 2012. I bought it because I absolutely had to have programmable G keys and, at the time, this was one of the few keyboards that had it. Plus, I thought the LCD screen would come in handy. Cut to two years later and I have never used the LCD screen. Once I got the keyboard, I realized that clock is only analogue!!! There is no option or app for a digital clock, that's insane.
Summary: At first I thought this keyboard was the best keyboard ever. I loved the feel, I loved the function keys. Not even a month after use its starting to act up. Will randomly disconnect from my computer and/or restart itself over and over. And now one of the USB ports doesn't work.
Cons: Logitech has the worst customer service for warranty support I have ever experienced. It seems it is all handled by a call center in India by non Logitech employees who have to get approval for any RMA and cannot do any type of advanced exchange. You have to ship the defective keyboard to them and after the test it they will ship you a replacement in 10-14 days. So how many of you want to be without your keyboard for a few weeks Buy another companies product and save ...
Summary: The keyboard worked well in the beginning, and I loved it truly... But then the problems started. Slowly the problems crept up. 1st the LCD options started malfunction. Some would go missing, others would refuse to work. 2. Next the Macro keys began glitching. They are completely unusable now, especially the ones involving text and key strokes.
Pros: It worked well in the beginning.
Cons: Malfunctions, Lack of helpful support from Logitech.
Summary: Just got this in and nothing but trouble. The keys up top (menu, and up, down, left, right) do not respond very well. I have to press very hard down on them to get them to work. Currently typing on the keyboard now which i had to unplug my mouse from because the mouse in the usb port was not being seen. The keyboard it self is not being recognized there for no back-lighting, no macros, and only basic key functions.
Summary: I wouldn't waste money on a re-hashed product that had ZERO support for the first model. This should tell you something... ... I have not had ONE update to the software, in the 2 years I've owned it. BECAUSE THEY DON'T SUPPORT THEIR OWN PRODUCTS !!!
