Excerpt: This review is for the first version of the G15, which features the full 18 macro keys and is known as the ‘Gaming’ edition. After seeing a fellow programming classmate return from Christmas break with one of these, I fell in love with the idea of having a keyboard with …
Summary: So I've used this particular keyboard for awhile; it has these strengths durability, back lighting, and features. To go into more detail though it has a few major draw backs especially for it's classification of a 'Gamer Keyboard'. First, the key response isn't up to par with mechanical keyboards.
Summary: They say that this is a gaming keyboard. I'm not too sure I can agree that much. The true "gaming" nature of the keyboard is the available 6 "G-keys", as well as on the fly macro recording. The g-keys themselves are as advertised. You can program them to do whatever macros you want them to.
Summary: It sure looks awesome all lit up, and I like the little LCD which appears high tech too. And the build quality looks decent too, externally. Can't complain about the macro software (even the os x one, which I am using) or about the layout. I have one, and it's suitable for the kids, but not me.
Summary: This is my second M15 keyboard. (The first one simply wore out from use!) I would have bought the newer one except for the ridiculous price! This keyboard does everything I want it to. Has a good feel. Just right for casual to serious gaming. Would buy again!
Summary: Great keyboard, plug n play setup with Win7, Would purchase again.
Pros: Hotkeys and Macros are major time savers for everyday tasks. I have all of my regularly used programs set to open with the press of 1 key. The backlight makes typing in the dark a snap, and looks cool to boot. Tactile feel is just right, with a noticeable but not intrusive sound. LCD screen has m...
Cons: Havent found any so far. I have had mine over a year and still wouldnt trade it for any other keyboard out there.
Summary: Keyboard has nice feedback when typing or playing games. Additional USB connections convenant for iPod and camera for quick access. Long cable, allows for good fit on larger desk setups when PC is located farther away. Can't rate use/value of menu, limited usage as of today.
