Excerpt: This review is for the first version of the G15, which features the full 18 macro keys and is known as the ‘Gaming’ edition. After seeing a fellow programming classmate return from Christmas break with one of these, I fell in love with the idea of having a keyboard with …
Summary: Great for the money (i got it for $110 [AU] at Mwave.com.au as it was a clearance) Still working after a month and is completely fine. Feels great for typing, games or anything really. Don't know what you could really use the macros for as most games just use 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 for the items or spells it was awkward going to the left to press them. It is a great keyboard and found the screen quite handy, but didn't support enough games for me.
Pros: To start off, the keys feel great and are half mechanical, half soft. The macro keys are easy to change profile and the program is easy to use. The back-lights look AMAZING how the logo lights up, and you can download different applets for the screen
Cons: The wrist-wrest felt like it was going to snap when you took it off. Also the low dimness level wasn't much different than the full brightness level. The screen didn't support enough games either.
Great product, would recommend it to anyone not just gamers.

Summary: It's completely awesome, customizable keys, easy to use software, and a very good feel. This may be a "Gaming" keyboard, but i would recommend it to anyone that uses a keyboard for hours at a time very comfortable, and it has smooth keystrokes, plus the customizable keys can be used as 1 button page savers for documents and tools, and to add to it the screen has a system monitor on it so you can see when your computer is being pushed to its limit, but the screen also has...

Summary: I bought this in 2005 when it was first released for (a deal compared to today's high end keyboard) $65.99. I game a lot to the point where 10 keys are faded out. For an 7.5 year old keyboard, this thing still works 100% other than cosmetic wear and tear. Every single key still functions and the backlit still works. the LCD is still functional. I have to admit though, i rarely used the macro keys, so they are more or less pristine.
Summary: I own two G15's . One of both versions. I also owned the Original G19 but an unfortunate accident killed it. I personally love the Logitech line and being totally honest you cant go wrong with the G15 or any of the G series keyboards. Find the best deal and buy it !
Summary: So I've used this particular keyboard for awhile; it has these strengths durability, back lighting, and features. To go into more detail though it has a few major draw backs especially for it's classification of a 'Gamer Keyboard'. First, the key response isn't up to par with mechanical keyboards. When their is a lot of keys being thrown really quick; the keyboard eventually creates a lag. Which in a game; can be life or death.
Summary: I love this keyboard & when I bought it two years ago I was so excited. Then a week ago I spilt Gator-aid on it and it was dead. Very happy I found the same replacement on E-bay. And now my drinks are nowhere near it. Plus they are below my keyboard just in case. hahaha Thanks, enya.
Summary: Awesome keyboard! The 1st gen has 18 macros with 3 layers. The 2nd gemn only has 6 macros. The screen has many features and you can add programs to make the screen show different things, the RSS reader is sweet.
