DiNovo Non Working Keys

ryanlc, Ebay
24 January 2011
  • Summary: Keyboard was defective right out of the box. Seems that these keyboards are very prone to hardware malfunction that causes the A,S,1,2,3,8 etc keys to not work. Logitech knows this. I called Logitech and they are replacing the keyboard with a K800, so that is good. Still liked this keyboard though.

Broken in 2 hours!

imageimp, Ebay
23 November 2010
  • Summary: I LOVED this keyboard - for about the 2 hrs it worked correctly. At that point, the "L" key popped off, and so far neither I nor several computer savvy friends have been able to replace it correctly.

Where are the legs? Painful.

Paula G., Newegg
9 September 2009
  • Summary: If the angle of the keyboard does not effect you then by all means this keyboard will be an excellent replacement.
  • Pros: The keyboard is beautiful. I have lots of potential wireless interference and this keyboard suffers from none of it. It also has a better range than I expected. I love the shallow keystroke and low noise when typing.
  • Cons: There are no legs on this keyboard. I bought this as a replacement for my notebook. FAIL. My biggest problem with my notebook is that the keyboard sits parallel to the desk. After typing 8 hours a day my wrist hurt some thing fierce. I don't have that problem with keyboards set at an angle with t...

Overpriced Junk

Robert H., Newegg
7 August 2009
  • Summary: It would have been nice if there had been a way to attach the 10 key pad to the keyboard or at least add the fold down legs so it can be angled like the keyboard. Also, the rubber coating below the keyboard and 10 key pad look nice as long as you don't touch them, but will begin peeling if you look...
  • Pros: Cordless. Keyboard contains the entire alphabet. Media remote has been useful on occasion.
  • Cons: We'll just do this one part at a time: Keyboard: Weak tactile response. Space bar requires way too much pressure to register. Frequently loses connection despite remaining only 3 feet from the bluetooth dongle. 10 Key pad: Powers down to save battery life, requiring you to wait a few extra second...

  • Summary: I am using a wireless keyboard that was part of a combo Logitech set that the mouse quit working so purchased a new set after 2 years the keyboard quit working so I made one good set out of two and the optical mouse that is 3 years old works better by far then the 1000 series lasor mouse that came...
  • Pros: How can something appear to look so good.Other then this none. I am 60 years and still uses logitechs products.
  • Cons: Cons:I have had so many issues I've ever experienced with. Random cursor locks. I went to uninstall the software and was unable to without it wipeing out my drivers for my HP printer and others and I had to do a windows repair to fix it.The mouse and keyboard are slow to wake up in sleep mode if ...

Beyond Overpriced

Nathan M., Newegg
15 February 2008
  • Summary: Unless you love throwing money away, stay away from this product. Also, logitech will not replace it unless you send it to them first. One person in support actually went as far as telling me that I should go out and buy a cheap keyboard while I waited for a replacement.
  • Pros: Its pretty and comfortable
  • Cons: Where to begin? The bluetooth dongle can't be more than 5 feet away from the keyboard & mouse and there can be nothing in the way of it. Basically I had to hook the dongle into a USB extension cable and put it on my desktop for the mouse and keyboard to work correctly. Everything disconnects arbi...

Thrid Time is the Charm

Anonymous, Newegg
25 May 2007
  • Summary: In the first year, I had to replace my mouse twice because it just stopped working. Now, I've had it for almost two years, and the left mouse button just stopped working. I'm trying to get another RMA...but I'm selling it as soon as it comes in.
  • Pros: Keyboard is very nice to type on.
  • Cons: The mouse keeps failing.

Eileen C., Newegg
8 April 2007
  • Summary: After 2 months keyboard wouldn't make connection with computer. About 2 months later the mouse wouldn't connect with the computer anymore. Now the only thing that works is the keyboard. I have owned 2 both did the same in about the same timeline.
  • Pros: small, slim, sleek, calculator, laser mouse
  • Cons: bluetooth, mouse, sticking keys (not physically), lagging mouse and keys

Worst buy ever

Douglas M., Newegg
16 March 2007
  • Summary: I hate this purchase and will be sending it back
  • Pros: It looks cool and the keyboard has a nice feel to it. The function buttons are also cool.
  • Cons: The mouse is the worst mouse i have ever used. It lags about 4 inches behind and is completely worthless. Most of the problems seem to be related to the bluetooth dongle that comes with the system. If you buy this system buy a dongle with it if you don't already have one because logitechs dongle ...

Not even worth on discount

Alex L., Newegg
13 February 2007
  • Summary: I've had two of these keyboards. The first one I figured must be defective so I complained to logitech, and they sent me a new one with little hassle. The second set had the exact same problems.
  • Pros: The keyboard looks great, and the lack of wires clears up your desk more than you might think. You are able to reclaim all that desk space between your keyboard and monitor.
  • Cons: Sometimes the keyboard is laggy, or will repeat keys nonstop without warning. The mouse is the worst offender. I have an original MX1000, and the one packaged with this bundle is nothing like it. Using a USB reporting tool, I was able to find out that the original MX1000 sends a usb signal 120 ti...
