Cool looking, functions well and super convenient.

  • Excerpt: Before owning the Dinovo Mini I had the Logitech MediaBoard Pro. The MediaBoard felt cheap and not worth the money I spent on it. I returned it and purchased the Dinovo Mini and I haven't looked back since. I'm using this to control my media center PC running Ubuntu 10.04 LTS and XBMC and it works great. Pairing it with Ubuntu was a snap using the included receiver and I never notice any signal issues (lag, dropped connection, etc).

Logitech Dinovo Mini... good for HTPC use

elaye949, Viewpoints
9 September 2012
  • Excerpt: Overall the Dinovo mini is one of the better HTPC keyboards/mouse combos I've used. The lighted keys and touchpad are great features to have so that you never need a fullsize keyboard or mouse lying around in your living room. After using the device for three years here are the major problems I've noticed with the design - (1) the keys are not aligned in the traditional QWERTY offset, instead they are vertically aligned (2) Using the touchpad as a D-pad is not the best...

"Depending on expectation, great for what it is"

Little Poppy, CNET
6 September 2010
  • Pros: -great feel, easy to hold -easy to thumb type sms style -easy to configure, and connects quickly on every reboot -touchpad is responsive, easier to navigate than my touchpad -holds charge forever -compact & easily stows away in any side pocket
  • Cons: -sorta hollow and plasticky feeling -touchpad's left click function sorta clumsy when drag&dropping -backlit though it times out to quick by default -confined to hunt and peck thumbing -a regular scroll wheel woulda been cool

peedgester, CNET
2 February 2009
  • Pros: Small, battery last for ever and recharges, Installation is easy, software works great to set up hot keys.
  • Cons: Could use more hot keys, the mouse pad is touchy, and could use a scroll wheel on the side to navigate faster.

slingboy, CNET
17 November 2008
  • Pros: Size, Convenience.
  • Cons: I have built in bluetooth on my laptop so i dont use the mini USB receiver. One main problem is i loose connection after i power down and i can't reconnect until i pair the the devices again. Second minor flaw is the track pad isnt to accurate.

Alberto, Amazon
21 April 2014
  • Summary: Like a remote, mouse and keyboard at the same time, it's nice and it's useful, but I'd rather if it had more play-compatible pads.

Logitech diNovo Mini Black Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard

Dallas, pricebat.ca
29 August 2013
  • Excerpt: I wanted a tiny, bluetooth, backlit keyboard with an integrated trackball or touchpad and directional keys to use with a bedroom HTPC. I could only discover two keyboards that covered all my specifications. I chose the diNovo Mini because it seemed to have the superior build top quality, and was more "wife friendly".I have the mini paired with the onboard bluetooth on an ASUS E35M1-I Deluxe motherboard.
