Pros: An excellent Keyboard/Mouse combo. Great look , feel and feedback of the keys. Serves as a remote when using my laptop with my big screen, and it's handy to have when working between multiple computers. Good battery life. Also works well with Media.
Cons: I've owned this product for over 4 years and use it constantly. I've spilled coffee on it and abused the heck out of it, and yes I've had to take it apart a couple of times to clean spills and replace the battery once.I have not been disappointed.
Excerpt: Logitech diNovo Edge Keyboard is probably the keyboard aliens more advanced that us are using right now. Logitech has made a simple boring keyboard into a stunning piece of hardware. The design of the Logitech diNovo Edge Keyboard is absolutely stunning. But it is not all form over function. The back light on the keyboard is perfect for typing in low light situations.
Excerpt: This is my favorite keyboard of all time. Sure scrolling with the trackpad sucks, and you don't have a numpad but man, this thing is a beauty and feels awesome to type on. I rarely have typing mistakes with this keyboard with strokes being smooth and quiet. The keyboard is really thin and comes with a rechargeable battery which you charge with the included dock. I know it's also very expensive at $150.
Excerpt: The Logitech diNovo Edge Mac Edition keyboard is an outstanding device. The fact that it is designed for Apple raises the bar very high since Apple is known for its high quality and minimalistic design. The keyboard itself is very comfortable and very thin. It reminds me of a high quality Windows computer, but it unfortunately does not have the same feel a Mac keyboard does.
Excerpt: This is one of Logitech's best items. As such it is one of the most expensive keyboards they make. With this Logitech dinovo edge model you're really getting an all-in-one package kind of deal. On the lower right-hand corner is a little pad that allows this keyboard to function as a mouse. This immediately brings to my attention perfect use for a home theater PC computer.
Summary: Bottomline, this keyboard is perfect match for your HTPC system. The keyboard is a little confine to get used to.
Pros: The build quality is very solid, sleek. I use this with my dell zino HD as a HTPC remote. Trackpad and scrolling works well, as does the volume slider and most function buttons.
Cons: Fingerprint magnet on the keyboard gloss black. The keyboard is a bit small and confining, but is such a perfect match for the HTPC system. The backspace key size is a bit small than a fullsize keyboard.
Summary: One thing Logitech should have stressed was that in order for the USB dongle to work in bluetooth mode, you must HOLD DOWN the connect button AS YOU plug it into a USB port. Otherwise, the dongle will just connect in regular mode, and wont double as a bluetooth receiver. The scrolling on the touch disk may take some time to used to.
Pros: Keyboard is beautiful! Sleek profile, very solid typing experience. This is THE perfect keyboard for an HTPC system. Touch disk is very accurate and great for scrolling through webpages. This is also the one piece of hardware in my HTPC setup that nearly all my friends are impressed by.
Cons: Lack of a designated numpad may be annoying for some. Some people may also dislike the positioning of the pg up/down, del, , home, end keys, which also takes a bit of time to get used to unless your previous keyboard already has an identical layout.
