Excerpt: The Logitech diNovo Edge keyboard is actually amazing. I have never seen a keyboard more complex and more efficient in my life. I got this keyboard mainly because my old one has been accumulating a lot of dust and is a bit sticky. It is the summer time and …
Summary: Bottomline, this keyboard is perfect match for your HTPC system. The keyboard is a little confine to get used to.
Pros: The build quality is very solid, sleek. I use this with my dell zino HD as a HTPC remote. Trackpad and scrolling works well, as does the volume slider and most function buttons.
Cons: Fingerprint magnet on the keyboard gloss black. The keyboard is a bit small and confining, but is such a perfect match for the HTPC system. The backspace key size is a bit small than a fullsize keyboard.
Summary: One thing Logitech should have stressed was that in order for the USB dongle to work in bluetooth mode, you must HOLD DOWN the connect button AS YOU plug it into a USB port. Otherwise, the dongle will just connect in regular mode, and wont double as a bluetooth receiver.
Pros: Keyboard is beautiful! Sleek profile, very solid typing experience. This is THE perfect keyboard for an HTPC system. Touch disk is very accurate and great for scrolling through webpages. This is also the one piece of hardware in my HTPC setup that nearly all my friends are impressed by.
Cons: Lack of a designated numpad may be annoying for some. Some people may also dislike the positioning of the pg up/down, del, , home, end keys, which also takes a bit of time to get used to unless your previous keyboard already has an identical layout.
Summary: If you have an HTPC then this keyboard is a must. It works beautifully, the bluetooth works great and best of all it just looks damn beautiful. Many folks have commented on how great it looks. For a normal desktop setup it's still great. The keys feel just right as you type on them.
Summary: I love this keyboard! I love the way the keys feel and work. your fingers just glide and the push of a key is effortless. I use this keyboard at work and I am using it all day long. The ONLY thing I don't like about it, is that it does not have a number pad. Other than that it is excellent!!
Summary: Being a cheapskate when it comes to keyboards I hesitatingly splurged for this because I needed a good HTPC wireless keyboard. This certainly fits the bill, plus it looks great! The range and connectivity is fantastic and it has very smooth operation of both the keys and the touch pad.
Summary: The product looked wonderful. It's thin and much better feeling than other keyboards. The recharging unit is handy. The mouse pad isn't too useful, but is handy in a pinch. However, there are serious problems with this product.
First, there is no way to know if the caps lock is on. No light.
Summary: I am a writer. I spend lots of time typing and HATE having to type on my hot MacBook pro (2006 version which gets hot and uncomfortable where my wrists rest). When I saw the Logitech diNovo Edge I thought it looked nice but wasn't sure how comfortable it would be.
Conclusion: Thanks to the fact that the keyboard is pre-charged, it’s good to go straight out of the box. It’s a matter of plugging in the Bluetooth adapter to an available USB port and waiting a minute for it to detect and install. SetPoint, as always, is required for most of the functionality.
Summary: This is my third purchase of this keyboard. I have two PCs an use this keyboard on both machines. The first keyboard I had suffered from the numbers rubbing off of the keys and was replaced at no cost by Logitech. I think the keys have changed slightly and this problem is not so common.
