Summary: I don't know what I would do without this keypad! In my line of work, I am constantly punching in numbers on a computer and this keypad allows me to do that on my laptop effortlessly. The built-in calculator button is genius and I use it everyday. The tab button allows me to work in spreadsheets quickly, and the parentheses are handy for punching in phone numbers.
Summary: I was very excited to get this item because I had a mountain of data to enter and no number pad on my laptop. When I received the product the batteries were wet and slightly corroded so I had to use new batteries. You have to continuously adjust the batteries and watch when you are typing in numbers because it will add extra numbers or not type any at all when you are not looking.
Summary: The reason I chose this keypad is because of the tab key which makes all the difference when navigating spreadsheets. As an added plus it includes parentheses so you no longer have to hold the shift key to write formulas. It also has some neat quick keys at the top that quickly open a blank spreadsheet, the calculator, or the internet. The only thing missing are additional USB ports.
Summary: Our family switched to using laptops as our computers years ago. I always hated that a number pad was not part of the keyboard. I never knew that separate number pads existed. I was missing out. I read a few reviews before purchasing this item. Some of them said that other products had an annoying delay between pressing the numbers and the number appearing on screen. That would have been nuts. But you get what you pay for, that item was just under $10 bucks.
Summary: Does what it is supposed to do. Isn't fragile. Nice carry case. Works every time I plug it in. The only negative is that you need to take one of the batteries out when you are not using it, especially if you carry it around. The movement turns it on in your computer bag and runs the battery down. No problems since I started removing one battery when I put it in it's case.
Summary: Better than the number pad on my laptop and I can hold it in my hand while I enter numbers. Construction seems very sturdy. Tab and back buttons are very handy and enable exclusive use of the pad without going back to the keyboard for most functions. Installation was truly plug and play. Would highly recommend it for number intensive data entry or calculator functions.
Summary: if your an accountant and work on a laptop rather than a computer, well, you might have some difficulties because some of the laptops dont hav enumerical keypads on the right side of the keyboard. in my case its even worse, becuase im a 'lefty' -left hand writer- which makes it even difficult for me to use even if it exists. having a wireless portable keypad in my hands made it easier.
