Summary: Having built a dual-boot system, I needed a keyboard and mouse that worked on both a Mac and a PC. Several folks seemed to have success using the Wave on a Mac, I'd even found an article where someone was happily using the multimedia keys in OSX.
Pros: Once you get used to it, it's a really comfy keyboard
Cons: Flimsy construction; Noisy keys reminiscent of vintage keyboards; ZERO Mac support; Not bluetooth - requires Logitech's own dongle, eating up a USB port; Wireless interface seems to drop out randomly causing lags in typing and mouse movement
Summary: Before I start, I'd like to mention that there are TWO versions of this product! This is the old version which costs less. The differences between the old (which is this product) and new version: -old one has a button on the back to turn on and off while the new one has a switch (I prefer the old...
Summary: Generally I like Logitech gear, but this combo is not as good as I hoped. It's ok for the price however. I am using it with an iMac. What I dislike: - The keybord lacks a Caps Lock light to indicate when it is on. - The keys are a little cumbersome and clunky. - I prefer a smaller mouse..
Summary: Works great with Mac OSX 10.6 and with Windows. Mac control panel is pre-configured with all the proper settings for the many function keys. It can be further customized quite easily, if desired. Logitech seems to be discontinuing their Mac keyboard line. So get this one while you can.
Summary: I got so used to Logitech Wave keyboard and mouse set at home that I had to get another one for my workplace because the company issued one was hard on my wrists. The Wave is very easy to get used to--it's not like typical ergonomic keyboards that have a very different layout.
Summary: 1st, I love this kit. 2nd. Amazon suggest the MK550 (if I got that right) is newer for about <@ this moment> $15. more. Do that... Either edition, I think you will be happy with the feel if you give it a week. I have pressed keys since the manual Underwood typewriter (and others).
Summary: I was a little reluctant to try this keyboard - not because of the brand, but because of the wave. Frankly, I didn't see how that could work. I was tired of typing on my iMac keyboard, and wanted something ergonomically-friendly, but wasn't certain this was the solution.
Summary: Absolutely love this keyboard and mouse combo. The keyboard is by far the most comfortable keyboard I've ever used. Love the extra shortcuts it has and also the programmable shortcuts. I am quickly becoming dependent on these keys which I've never had the use of before.
