Reception Problems.

Blake E., Newegg
17 June 2010
  • Summary: I have had many problems using any 2.4ghz hardware. It seems that you can't be running two 2.4g devices at the same time without effectively cutting the signal range by 90%! Too bad many devices use 2.4g these days.
  • Pros: Mouse has a nice feel to it and is very precise. The keyboard has nice convenient large icons on it that usually default to the correct setting with no hassles.
  • Cons: Wireless range is terrible for me. The position of the tower to my keyboard and mouse is critical. Right now my tower is less than 4 feet away from my mouse and keyboard, but I still get random dropouts and lag, especially with the mouse. It is actually very overpriced... I got it as a Christmas ...

Works OK - lag & reception issues

Anonymous, Newegg
21 April 2010
  • Summary: I have always loved Logitech products and this is the first I have ever had trouble with. I will continue to buy Logitech, but it is disappointing none the less.
  • Pros: Very comfortable mouse & kb. Great layout and tons of customizable buttons. It installed easily & it just plain looks good. Mouse holds charge forever & I still haven't replaced the batts in the KB.
  • Cons: Random lag & reception issues issues. I have searched and searched, and I have tried every fix under the sun. Still it lags. I even bought a cable and moved the receiver away from any and everything that could possibly interfere. Still no luck. I am at a loss now. It does OK for normal computer u...

Not good for gaming

Daniel U., Newegg
9 December 2009
  • Summary: Layout of function keys is somewhat hard to get used to, and the keys a little bit sticky compared to the best wired keyboards.
  • Pros: Wireless. Keyboard has comfortable palm rest, Good for watching movies/videos as you remote access to volume and mute buttons. Handy media keys (especially handy mute button). Great mouse, I really like the frictionless mouse wheel - big help for scrolling through long documents/webpages.
  • Cons: Both keyboard and mouse now and then loose connection for a second or two. What happens is that sometimes in the middle of typing the keyboard stops responding for a few seconds, or mouse freezes for a split second or two. It can be a bit annoying when you are doing work or in middle of completin...

Gets the Job Done I Guess

George P., Newegg
14 August 2009
  • Summary: Can't beat the ability to sit on your couch and play PC games on a bigscreen TV. I just wish this was bluetooth, but hey the price was right. It works just not as good as I was hoping for.
  • Pros: Lots of functionality on the keyboard itself. I like being able to open Calculator on the fly and the media controls are good. Mouse battery life is superb 6 weeks according to the manual. We'll see though.
  • Cons: Mouse is bulky and uncomfortable to me. The placement of the side buttons can result in hitting them when just moving the mouse. Logitechs software is abysmal to say the lease. Both the keyboard and mouse cut out sometimes which is really frustrating while gaming, like on WoW.

Not bad...

Timothy F., Newegg
13 July 2009
  • Summary: The F-keys are grouped in 3's instead of 4's like every other keyboard I have ever used. It will just take some getting used to, I guess. I am just thankful that when I try to hit F5 and hit F4 instead that it does not cause the world to explode.
  • Pros: The advertising is correct, the keyboard doesn't take much getting used to, the only gripe I have with it being that I sometimes miss the enter key because it is higher up then what I am used to. The wrist support on the keyboard is soft and does its job well. The mouse sensitivity is good and th...
  • Cons: The mouse is rather bulky. I also have an MX Revolution, which in itself is a rather large mouse; this one is bigger. Not comfortable for people who use anything but a palm grip on their mouse. I use a more clawed grip, so it doesn't agree with me. My mouse came with one button not functioning (t...

QC Control

Leon L., Newegg
1 July 2009
  • Summary: The cable to recharge the mouse is NOT USB, it seems like it's one of Logitech's own proprietory connections. My experience has told me that maybe you're better off getting a cheaper wireless keyboard. In my case, the 20 dollar keyboard/mouse combo beat the 130 dollar one.
  • Pros: Excellent keyboard with great wireless range. The keys have nice feedback to them and its ergonomically shaped to the position of your hands. Haven't had to replace the batteries yet. Mouse works great when it responds. You can swap from high to precise scrolling and change your dpi settings on t...
  • Cons: I often miss the enter (return) key because of the shape of the keyboard. Perhaps its just my hands. Logitech's Quality Control really failed regarding the mouse. Not only does it fail to respond to movement about the half the time, it will sometimes fail to work even on flat surfaces. Note that ...

Disappointed

A. Davies, Amazon
24 July 2009
  • Summary: I wanted the Dinovo Edge but refused to pay the ridiculous price for it. I read all the reviews for this, bought it and wish I hadn't. Unresponsive keystrokes and stuttering mouse - I ended up putting the receiver on the end of an extension lead the same as another reviewer (I'd read that the range...
