Cons: The keyboard goes crazy and gets stuck in one mode, today I decided to delete a spam mail and the delete command got stock, so all my mails in my Inbox got deleted. It didn't give me time to even removed the batteries.
Pros: Plug and play wireless setup Good range Touch sensitive media controls Nice display window on keyboard Built in calculator MX laser mouse works on almost any surface except for clear glass = No mouse pad!!!
Cons: Display window could have back light What is the zoom button for? Never works with my browser. I wish this keyboard had natural wave design.
Summary: I have been using this combo set for work (6-10 hrs daily) a little over 4 years. below are a few "buyer beware" items. 1. Battery life and durability Keyboard battery: the keyboard uses 4 AA batteries. i used high grade rechargeable batteries. on average, a fully charged high keyboard would last about 2 weeks (assuming 6-10 hours daily use). Mouse battery: the mouse comes with internal battery and recharging docking station.
Summary: So, I purchased this off amazon.com about three months ago, because my beautiful and amazing Logitech MX3000 keyboard mouse set got a cup of orange juice spilled on it. THANKS HONEY! Anyway, I thought, "well, the MX5000 is higher in number so it must be better." WWWWWWWWWWRRRRRRRRRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MX5000 IS THE BIGGEST PIECE OF DUNG I HAVE EVER BOUGHT IN MY LIFE!
Summary: I have now had my Mx 5000 for well over 3 yrs not only have i had little to no problems with it but it still works perfectly. The only reason I even came here was to try to get a new one because logitech will no longer allow you to order just the charger (which my three daughters broke.) I'm an avid gamer including MMO's and this mouse has always been fast and responsive.
Summary: OK I've used this product for a couple of years now and I do use it a lot. It was a fairly expensive combo at the time in Australian dollar prices. The MX1000 Laser Mouse Let's start with the mouse. It is a very nice product in almost every way. It has a smooth scroll wheel and many buttons which are all programmable. It is comfortable to hold but is designed for right handed use so lefties may not like it all as the thumb buttons will be unusable.
Summary: I am so sick of this product, and having to plug in my USB mouse to use the connection utility to get a connection for the mouse and keyboard. What good is a wireless product if you have to keep the wired ones on stand by to correct frequent failures? I have had this set for about two years and have received all of the software updates, but the bluetooth connection still continues to drop.
Summary: I do 3D animation, video editing, etc. and I like to work fast. I bought this hoping to update my really old wireless mouse and corded keyboard. That still worked great(also Logitech) but had gotten kinda scuzzy over the years. That old beige just looks old. I got this combo and the keyboard is super slow. it finishes typing several moments after you type the letters.
