I love this keyboard

Chuck S., Newegg
7 March 2014
  • Summary: I bought this keyboard in 2010. I got 3 to 4 years out of it. Then the keys would stick or not work. Maybe it needs a good cleaning. I tried but I was not aggressive with the cleaning. I would love to get another keyboard like this one. Just upgrade the guts and put it back on the market.
  • Pros: I like the tactile feel of the keys. I must be old to admit I started off with typewriters but I touch type. The spacing is perfect. I could have been able to type 50 - 60 cps with it.
  • Cons: It is now discontinued.

Comfortable

Adam L., Newegg
10 October 2013
  • Summary: I use a (wired) mechanical keyboard now for gaming, but this keyboard feels best in my hands!
  • Pros: This is my favorite keyboard for comfort and ease of use. I have had issues with a logitech G7 dropping signal before, but this mouse/keyboard have been great.
  • Cons: none really - I guess it would be nice to have rechargeable batteries as part of the system.

Great keyboard and mouse

Russell B., Newegg
27 September 2012
  • Pros: This keyboard and mouse has been very good to me. I am just now replacing it and I have had it for well over a year. The letters on the keyboard are still visible with zero wear and tear. The Logitech logo on the mouse has worn off, but it took over a year to do that .
  • Cons: After it hits the year and a half mark and your niece has dropped the keyboard and mouse on the floor a few hundred times it starts to get buggy. lol

Fantastic for price

Cheryl H., Newegg
12 August 2012
  • Pros: Though I haven't had the set too long, it has stood up to use very well for how much I paid for it. I was expecting to by a cheap keyboard and mouse to tide me over until I could get something nicer, but this has really done well.
  • Cons: None to speak of

Update To Previous Review

Joseph A., Newegg
26 November 2011
  • Pros: Was able to get in touch with Logitech and they are shipping me out a new unit. Logitech customer service was very understanding and courteous. This particular desktop unit has been discontinued, so Logitech upgraded me to the next model at no additional cost.
  • Cons: None - all is well that ends well!

Working Great

Curtis C., Newegg
30 September 2011
  • Summary: I do not know how long they will last on one charge, but it should not be too bad to go to best buy and get some AAA batteries. Also, I have many rechargeable AA batteries. So that is no problem for me.
  • Pros: Really great wireless keyboard & mouse. It has a really good price, and I am really happy with that. The keyboard is really nice and Quiet, and every key is working great. Th mouse is really good too. It tracks even better then my old wired mouse. But I do not have a pad for it. Overall its a gre...
  • Cons: The product, none. For me it is a little shakey, but that is my desk.

Excellent Purchase

Andrew C., Newegg
28 September 2011
  • Summary: After using this keyboard for a few days I downloaded the setpoint software provided on the disc (and product website). This displays on the monitor when CAPS or NUM lock is activated. This software also warns you when the batteries are getting low.
  • Pros: This thing works great. I bought one for myself and my Dad liked it so much I bought one for him. Great value. Everything works as it should and Windows 7 recognized the hardware and downloaded the drivers faster than I could sneeze. It was working before I could even get the driver disc into the...
  • Cons: Batteries instead of plug and charge. No light to indicate Cap/Number lock. (see other comments)

User Review

Anonymous, Newegg
14 September 2011
  • Summary: Mouse instantly recognised in Linux 2.6.38-11, keyboard required a restart of X to get working.
  • Pros: Very lightweight keyboard!!! Responsive mouse (at least with full battery charge).
  • Cons: Strange layout for the home-end-PU-PD-Ins-Del keys, will probably remap them.
