Excerpt: I had actually been looking for a wireless mouse for my laptop computer and the only thing that I could find were very small mice. I wanted a full size mouse so I decided to purchase the Logitech Cordless Desktop Keyboard and Mouse EX100 Combo.
Summary: I have used the keyboard/mouse for about two weeks now and have no complaints. Setup was simple and very easy. I have used it on my MacBook Pro (OS X Snow Leopard), Linux (Ubuntu 64-bit) and Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit without a hitch. The keys look and feel fine and work well. Range seems good too. I could not ask for more--well, back-lighting would be nice. One thing I did notice is that the tracking light stays lit even when the computer is off.
Summary: I used this wireless keyboard sinked with my laptop so I could keep my laptop closed and have it plugged onto a larger display ... just after that , my laptop started playing up and now certain caracters have moved position for examples r is now s , s is r , @ is now " and " is @..........
Summary: This Logitech Cordless Desktop is functional and reasonably priced but you quickly discover why its worth paying a little bit more to save in the long run. Purchasing this as an alternative to my usual laptop keyboard for when I am at my desk I was looking for something that was reasonably priced, relatively sturdy and could last been uses. I was given two out of three of my requests.
Summary: Does the job it's supposed too. But the mouse batteries go after about a month or two. Wireless connection can go funny with the keyboard now and again - keys sticking - but just pressing the red connect button solves that.
brilliant, but keys seem to stick down after a while.

Summary: In my original review 2 years ago, I gave it 5 stars and said: "Don't know how long batteries will last." - I do now: it does use them up, but I don't think unreasonably so. "Don't have a problem with it missing key strokes as some reviewers have... my base station is around a meter (3 feet) from the keyboard and mouse." - this is still true, though it's even closer now at about 45 cm (1.5 feet).... however too close and it seems to start missing key strokes as well.
Summary: For me the keyboard layout and buttons are near perfect aswell as the mouse BUT there are no caps lock or num lock light indicators on the keyboard at all. I don't know why logiteck did this but when you are first using this keyboard it id extremly annoying but once use get used to the layout you don't press the caps lock button anymore and it isn't realy a problem.
Summary: Bought a month ago as I aquired my first lap top and found it harder to use the lap top keyboard and mouse. This is very effective and works well. I can even connect my lap top to the TV at one end of the room and work it from the other. Less wire clutter and very smouth running. I have recently been learning to touch type and my speed went up over night due to the smouthness and nice back pressure of these keys.
