Excerpt: I had actually been looking for a wireless mouse for my laptop computer and the only thing that I could find were very small mice. I wanted a full size mouse so I decided to purchase the Logitech Cordless Desktop Keyboard and Mouse EX100 Combo. This would allow me to also connect the laptop to the television and work remotely without the laptop right next to me. I chose the Logitech keyboard and mouse because it was one of the lowest priced brands.
Summary: I bought the EX100 recently to use at home with my desk top computer and found it to be very computer friendly. Easy hook up from box to computer. I have Windows 7 and it works very well as a cordless keyboard and mouse. Nice product so far.
Summary: I have used the keyboard/mouse for about two weeks now and have no complaints. Setup was simple and very easy. I have used it on my MacBook Pro (OS X Snow Leopard), Linux (Ubuntu 64-bit) and Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit without a hitch. The keys look and feel fine and work well. Range seems good too. I could not ask for more--well, back-lighting would be nice. One thing I did notice is that the tracking light stays lit even when the computer is off.
Pros: Slim keyboard is easy to type on. Has shortcut keys. wireless reciever has a cord (not like a USB stick), allowing me to move it from the back of my computer to a place with better reception. Includes mouse. Durable
Cons: Need FN key to use shortcuts. The mouse is quite basic, no side scrolling, back buttons, etc. Keyboard nor reciever have caps, num lock lights.
