The keyboard of the Logitech Cordless Desktop Comfort Laser features an ergonomic split-key design as well as a detachable soft-touch palm rest for extra wrist support. The keyboard tilt can also be adjusted up to three angles using its tilt legs. With the legs closed, the keyboard has a zero-degree tilt.
Apart from the standard alphanumeric keys and document, editing, and navigation controls, the keyboard of the Logitech Cordless Desktop Comfort Laser features special function keys that are separated by zones. The first is commonly known as the Internet Zone which is located at the top left portion of the keyboard. This zone includes one-touch hot keys for common shortcuts such as e-mail, home page, and search. The other portion is commonly known as the Multimedia zone which is located at the right portion of the keyboard. This zone includes controls for increasing and decreasing volume, muting, play/pause, stop, rewind, and fast forward.
The Logitech Cordless Desktop Comfort Laser comes with a sculpted wireless laser mouse with Logitech’s Tilt Wheel plus Zoom. This allows it to scroll vertically and horizontally using its scroll wheel as well as zoom in, zoom out, and view in 100% using the three buttons located next to the left mouse button. These three buttons can also be set to perform other functions including multimedia controls. The mouse also has a rubberized finish.
