Logitech Wireless keyboard-----avoid at all costs.
1 April 2011
Summary: I liked the concept, the wireless feature and the "feel" of the keys. But....you were never sure when a letter would "take off." By that I mean, you touch an "h" for example and 9 "h's" would appear. I was constantly deleting extra letters. I went right back to the Logitech wired key board. This fact greatly out weighs any good features.
Summary: Conceptually, the Alto Cordless is a nice product. In reality, I would bet that it is the worst product ever released by Logitech. I currently own the Cordless Desktop Pro and recently bought one of the new Laser wireless desktop sets for my mom, as I am a Logitech fan. However, the Alto cordless fails in a big way at two of its claims: cordless capability and the USB hub. The cordless is simply horrible.
Summary: I bought this to use with my laptop at home. But there are a number of problems with it -- all of which are simple things that they should have fixed: (1) Why include a keyboard and not a mouse? I had to buy this separately. (2) Why only 3 USB parts? (3) The station needs to be plugged in to work ... so the keyboard will not work when plugged into the USB port of my laptop unless I have also plugged in the adaptor. Why?
