Faulty

John R., Newegg
  • Pros: Plug and play for Windows 10. No driver updates needed.
  • Cons: Within two weeks just about one of the worst buttons to become faulty became faulty: The music player shortcut. Now the slightest vibration above typing will open and maximize the chosen default media player. So in the middle of whatever you're doing, a media player will maximize and dominate the...

Lenovo 73P2620 Enhanced Performance Keyboard

Chemistryman, Overstock
8 July 2015
  • Summary: Great keyboard. Keys work smoothly, quietly. I like the added features such as volume, playback for CD's or DVD's. I really like the added rest pad for your wrists. Helps prevent Carpal tunnel because it keeps the angle of your wrists correct so as not to have fatigue.

Anonymous, Newegg
31 March 2015
  • Summary: Great keyboard for someone wanting special keys for quick launch.
  • Pros: Has many buttons that are all programmable to what you want.
  • Cons: Is a little heavy. Yet who really notices the weight of a keyboard?

Best keyboard I ever had

bikejog, Walmart
23 April 2014
  • Summary: The similar IBM keyboard I had for more than 10 years was dying. Remembering how good the Keytronic keyboard of yesteryear was, I brought a Keytronic from Amazon. Worst keyboard I ever brought. The space bar died less than 2 months, but I was able to use glue to fix it.

Justin p., Newegg
8 February 2014
  • Pros: i don't think this thing will break anytime soon. lots of buttons, about 18 more than i was expecting. so far i haven't noticed any flaws. packing did a great job of not being pretty and keeping keyboard safe. the first thing that comes to mind when holding this keyboard is sturdy. seems to be ev...

USB does not work

Anonymous , Office Depot
3 November 2010
  • Summary: For the price, this keyboard was not at all what I needed. I specifically bought it to have the USB outlets at my fingertips, since my CPU is under my desk. I am tired of getting on my knees every time I want to plug something in.

Keyboard that lasts

David F., Newegg
31 October 2010
  • Summary: I have used this keyboard for around five years. I have used it on four computers, each of which was my primary computer at the time, so that should tell you something. The only problems after all this time are dirt, the markings wearing off of the keys I use most (the A key is the worst; very...
  • Pros: Good key feel (even after years of use), multimedia keys, USB hub, durable
  • Cons: On my older model, USB hub is only 1.1. Not sure if it's 2.0 now. Also, the shortcut keys need to have the app installed for them to work (the multimedia keys work out of the box).

Quirky

John E., Newegg
2 October 2009
  • Summary: Unless your desktop doesn't have a PS/2 port, don't buy this thing. It's just not stable enough for normal use. Get a good old fashioned PS/2 keyboard that won't fail.
  • Pros: Typical IBM/Lenovo keyboard feeling and styling. 2 Port USB hub integrated into keyboard. Quite a few useful buttons.
  • Cons: I'm running Vista Business 32-Bit and I'll be darned if this keyboard likes it. The controller software for the hot buttons always crashes and renders the buttons (I mostly just use the volume control) useless. I am using it with a Lenovo Desktop so there should be no issue. No driver updates ava...

Solid Keyboard

Joshua M., Newegg
18 June 2009
  • Pros: Well built keyboard. usefull shortcuts without going overboard. USB hub is nice for mouse. works in well in Gentoo Linux
  • Cons: When using with XP 64-bit version, it did not work until the drivers were installed (which means a PS2 keyboard/mouse is needed to login)
