Pros: I own several of these keyboards and have had them for many years. I love the feel of the keystroke - very smooth, and the board has a nice weight to it. It is also not a gargantuan keyboard, so it doesn't take up too much space. If you are looking for a quality PS/2 keyboard that doesn't cost a ...
Cons: Minor con is that the backspace key is a normal sized key. I would prefer it to be a double key, but it is really no big deal. Just something minor to get used to.
Summary: I bought this keyboard about a year ago as a spare. I kept it on the shelf, still shrink-wrapped, until recently. It was there specifically to fill the gap in case I had a failure. I am and remain a TOTAL fan of Key Tronic.
Pros: Could have been a fairly nice keyboard. But it was not to be.
Cons: New out of the box, the spacebar is dead on the right side. The keyboard is virtually impossible to use.
Summary: I picked up my latest copy of this keyboard as a spare. I always keep a few spares on hand. Some lucky customer might get it if the need arises. My other Key Tronics are unlikely to fail.
Pros: Key Tronic makes good keyboards. This is a cheap one, and nothing special (cant expect extremes at this price) but sturdy. I've used (and am still using) others of this same model, though I prefer (and now use on my primary desktop system) their Designer-P2 model.
Summary: I appear to be very hard on keyboards. The spills and whacks have been too much for all my previous keyboards except for an ancient Alps with touchpad that still works too. This one is still working at 1-year, 10 months, only problem is bits of food under the spacebar which I could clean out if I...
Summary: KeyTronics has been making the best keyboards for many years. This one is no different. It seems to be well constructed and has a very good feel. The packaging was unbelievable. The box was extremely large. I feel like I could have put 10 or 20 keyboards in that box.
Pros: Nice long cord permits easy placement with a PS2 connector. Keyboards with PS2 connectors are getting harder and harder to find. Nice positive feel when you depress the keys.
Cons: I was disappointed to see that the keyboard was made in China.
Summary: i have been using computers for 20 years- i'm a hardware expert.. NO OTHER KEYBOARD MAKER has EVER been able to build a keyboard as good a Key Tronic.. but they've only got basically two keyboards- the "monster" keyboard with the right size enter key and backspace key that's never been as good as...
Pros: best keyboard..
Cons: L-shaped enter key and small backspace key..
Summary: When brand new the feel of the board was so nice I wanted to get the expensive Designer Style Keytronics Keyboard for my main station but the early failure of this unit changes my mind and I will stick with Logitech and Microsoft Keyboards in the future.
Pros: Worked very well for a few weeks of light use, then more and more keys stopped working. I wrote a positive review for this when I first received it.
Cons: When 50% of the keys stopped working I had to go back using my 12 year old Microsoft Keyboard, the old Microsoft keyboard still works perfect even though some letters are worn down to being faded out.
