Summary: this is a great keyboard easily interchangeable key sets, nice appearance extra usb ports ............................................................................................................................................
Summary: The key board is ok, but they don't support windows 8. I have the World of Warcraft key board and the special function keys don't work. I just use the generic gaming keyboard that came with the set. I like the big keys for moving around. I would not buy another one unless they upgraded the software to be compatible with windows 8.
Summary: I'm amazed at how many bad reviews this keyboard has gotten. I've used these since they came out, circa 2004. I've owned exactly 3 in that time. I ruined one myself, one I used till it was worn to the nub, and the third I'm still using now. I just bought 3 more since SteelSeries stopped producing them. I can only speak for myself, but I can't imagine going back to a standard keyboard.
Summary: At first I thought the whole keyboard could fold into a square which is perfect for work and home which I wouldnt have to transfer over and over. That was not the case. You also require a base for this keyboard which makes the whole thing thick. Spent 45$ with 3ds Max new. Pros: Great feature of switching keys and modding. Cool way of folding and storing keysets. Great looking decals Gamepad feels great and has support of major games. Cons: Very thick and clunky.
Summary: I have three primary PCs that I use, my laptop (Windows 8), gaming desktop (Windows ultimate), and my Windows 7 laptop. Each Pc has a primary purpose but if I want to game this keyboard is plugged into all of them! This is not just for gaming its for typers who don't like these prissy little thin keyboards that have over sensitive keys. I have always used an old dell keyboard for gaming and programming because I need to be able to pound the keys.
Durable, reliable, with the ability to customize it. Wonderful product.

Summary: Being a heavy gamer, I tend to buy items even when i don't need to. Such is the case with the SteelSeries Zboard. I had a nice HP keyboard, but I wanted this. First off, it weighty; exactly what I like. It doesn't feel like it will break if i press the keys to hard. The keys are silent, making little noise as I type. Built in USB ports and a long cord are a bonus.
Summary: If your a gamer you will fall in love with this keyboard. Just don't feed it your icecream! Unit arrived in perfect condition, connected without needing to download any drivers on my Windows 7 64 bit system, and was straight to work moving me about my gaming world. Keyboard quickly swapped out with minimal fuss, though I found I did need to watch that all the keys lined up proper to their matching standoffs.
Summary: HAVE HAD THIS KEYBOARD 2 MONTHS AND IT HAS STOPPED WORKING. LAST TIME I WILL EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM IDEALZON OR STEELSERIES AGAIN. Not happy at all. No software came with keyboard. I have had keyset for only a couple of weeks the letter P quit working unless I unclip the key board from base. Went to steelseries web site, could not find key setups for different games or drivers to download Very hard to navigate website. The website sucks.
Summary: I ordered this for under twenty-five dollars in hope that i would get a decent quality device that I could enjoy,No Its not the nice backlit keyboard that I wanted, but it had usb ports so I could put a usb book light in it and have the keys light. But eventhough it has nice little parts in it and its easy to clean because of the removable keypads, I receved on that does not have full functioning keys, Thought it was a driver and installed a steel seriese driver that...
Summary: This keyboard will not work with most of the games that I play. Could be cause I have windows 7 on my computer. I like the fact that you can get different keysets, but they do not sit right in the base. I also can not get my games to program to the way the keyboard is set up.
