Summary: If I were into shooters, this would probably be a very sweet keyboard.
Pros: Illuminates well and the two usb ports are nice. Also easy access for headphones and a mic.
Cons: This is great for the first person shooter types I guess, but I lean towards RTS. Never found this useful and hard to get the NUMLOC off on boot when I need to use the delete key which doubles as "1".
Summary: I've had this keyboard for a long time and have come to both love and hate it. Having a bank of fully customizable keys literally at your fingertips is amazing. The problem is they don't work anymore. The software stopped working and apparently Ideazon was bought by another company.
Pros: Infinity customizable and absolutely perfect for any sort of gaming.
Cons: Cheaply made Software doesn't work anymore. Support is not helpful or doesn't really exist any longer.
Summary: The older version of the software was better. I originally got this one because the store I got it from was out of G11s, and I didn't want the screen on the G15, however this is the last time I make that mistake.
Pros: This is a great keyboard if you play any of the games it was originally designed for like WoW, FPS games, or any other 3D MMO, however if you're a 2D gamer (especially Sidescrolling) it's honestly not worth it at all.
Cons: The software sucks, unlike Logitech's Wingman just about every game security system (Gameguard, XTrap, etc) block it, to the point of actually UNinstalling it... the software itself is very hard to get around, and as of November 2008, Zboard's website is down, so unless you kept your CD, be prepa...
Summary: I can't believe I gave my Saitek II to my friend after I got this board. I called and told him I would buy it back from him but he won't sell. He loves it. So I ordered another Saitek cheap from Newegg.
Pros: Liked the lighted blue keys.
Cons: You better get used to typing in a whole new way. Plenty of spelling errors because keys aren't where they usually are on normal keyboards. The gamerpad thing on it is just cumbersome. I tried to get used to it but after 6 months I just went back to my WASD keys. Also you have to press extra hard...
Cons: Only the red LED will work. Ive installed the CD, Ive downloaded the drivers, but I cannot change the LED Color, only the brightness. Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how do I fix it? I dont want to send it back already, because It is a great keyboard, I would like to fix the LED problem.
Summary: AMD 9950 Quad Core, Corsair Dominator 4GB, ASUS Crosshair II Motherboard, Geforce GTX 260, Silverstone Decathlon 700 Watt PSU, Vista Ultimate 64bit
Pros: Its a really cool keyboard. It has 2 USB ports and a Headphones/Mic jack. The game keys are really awesome and laid out very well. Illumination is awesome.
Cons: Do not get this keyboard if you are running Windows Vista 64bit!!! The keyboard works but not on vista64 bit. It would randomly crash my system. Like I'd be playing a game and my system would just freeze and could not be unfrozen, would have to push reset button. This problem only happens when th...
Summary: Should have spent the extra money on the G15
Pros: Lighted keyboard, and imbeded fang controler. When this thing works ts great.
Cons: Random keys would stop working and in order to get it to work have hold them down for roughly a second. After 4 months the movement keys stopped working and the delete key and some of the number pad keys never worked.
