Very good solid keyboard with hard to use funtion keys
3 June 2013
Summary: Pros: -excellent build quality -solid feel and keys response -micro receiver can connect several HP peripherals -compact, ideal for travel One serious con: - function keys F1-F12 have been swapped with 'Play'/'Rewind' etc functions - also their labels very dim and hard to see - a nightmare if you need to access function keys frequently (you have to constantly hold down Fn) unless you remap them which is not trivial for the average user.
Summary: The Good 1. Design, I love the design. Good job HP! 2. mouse! nice little addition 3. Link 5 micro receiver - compatible with other link 5 product (e.g mouse) you only need 1 receiver to connect them all. 4. I can use this keyboard in the BIOS :) 5. the receiver can be stored inside the keyboard (under the battery cover) 6. spill proof (never test it out) The Bad 1. I had a problem with this keyboard, there was delays + lag.
Summary: I really like this keyboard but the one you sent me isnt the one from the picture. the one you sent me is in french and I would like to exchange the one i have for one in english with the seller
smaller than laptop keyboard, smaller keys and spacing

Summary: Five stars if the fact that keys are significantly closer and smaller than standard PC laptop had been mentioned. I've used a compact wireless keyboard for years with keys same size as standard PC laptop keys. This is significantly smaller than laptop keyboard with smaller keys, requiring re-memorization. But then switching back and forth between laptop and this causes me accuracy and speed problems. Very nice otherwise.
Summary: I just got this mini keyboard today and so far love it! It has a little weight to it, not cheaply made and I think the size is perfect. Exactly what I was looking for to replace my HP Touchsmart PC wireless keyboard (too big). This little thing is about an inch smaller than the Touchsmart keyboard not including the numeric key pad. So you are typing on keys almost the same size. I am a woman with medium sized hands and it's perfect.
Summary: I am replacing my old media hp mini keyboard that had a trackball after the receiver got broken. I've looked though everything on the market and this seems to be the best thing out there for a multimedia keyboard with mouse function. I sure do miss the trackball. I actually had preferred it over a regular mouse.
Summary: I purchased this keyboard as a replacement for my full sized wireless keyboard to save precious desk space. I am fairly large handed and find the keyboard a little on the small side (thus 4 stars) but the button track pad included in the keyboard work great and the solid build and low footprint make it great to use.
Summary: I actually had an older model, the WX415AA. If y'all search for it, it uses the track ball on the right side and left/right click buttons on the left. It worked fairly well, I never had sticky problems with the track ball, but the built in mouse was useless for drag-and-drop to the point that you couldn't shift open windows on your desktop, it kept interpreting the long hold as a double-click. I feel like the new technology is a great improvement.
Summary: Using this with ThinkPad W500 with Win XP. The good: Simple installation. Put in batteries then Plug in USB receiver/transmitter and it's done. The issue I have is the instructions are all pictures and no writing. Keyboard has a pretty good feel for a small keyboard. Not as good as my ThinkPad though. The so-called mouse is awkward to use, but it does work. The keyboard feels solidly built. The bad: 1.
Summary: I bought this at frys electronics, but I may return it and buy it on amazon cuz its cheaper. This keyboard is not for gaming like first person shooter. chicklets are too tiny and overtime, your fingers will be pressing WASD too hard that I think it might break overtime. I could easily break this or it might break if I drop it. Its quite thin. Office type its worth it.
