Amazing Mouse!

Drew H., Newegg
15 May 2015
  • Summary: I may just buy another one when this one dies.
  • Pros: This mouse is amazing, it has great grip and a super comfortable shape and feel. The DPI button up top is really useful, and the buttons on the side are easy to use.
  • Cons: DPI light doesn't match logo. That's about it, no other complaints.

Very good for the price

Joel P., Newegg
26 January 2015
  • Summary: Seems like a good mouse for the price. Only time will tell if it stays this good.
  • Pros: Great feel and sensitivity. Nice that DPI can be adjusted both ways with a switch instead of cycling with a button, great for gaming. Software does not stay open constantly (at least it seems like it does not), instead saves settings to mouse itself, allowing for DPI, color, and macro settings be...
  • Cons: Back-lit logo pulsing, no way to make it stay on constantly or change pulsing pattern. HOWEVER using Ghost software it is easy to set one of the colors to black, doing so will turn off the back light.

Great mouse

Eve S., Newegg
6 December 2014
  • Summary: Highly recommended mouse, overall. This is my second one. DPI light colors don't match Ghost logo, but I don't spend much time staring at the mouse, so...
  • Pros: -Braided cord allows for easy movement, less drags/snags. -Durable hardware. I've dropped this a few times and it hasn't skipped a beat. -DPI button is easily accessible, as well as extra buttons on side. Well thought out design. I spend most of my time on DPI #2, rarely use #4. -Rubber textured ...
  • Cons: Ghost software takes some getting used to.

I loooove it!

Leslie J., Newegg
23 January 2014
  • Summary: It's expensive, but will reward you for every penny spent.
  • Pros: Ho yes I love this mouse. I love it so much that I'm writing a sound about it that'll be released on Youtube in a short while. I've own quite a number of gaming mouse; Gigabyte Aivia Krypton, Logitech G5 & G3, Coolermaster Sentinel Advance II, Razer Death Adder. The Gigabyte GM-M8000X is the best...

Worth the money.

Yves C., Newegg
4 September 2013
  • Pros: Very very comfortable. I have never owned a mouse that has felt this perfect in my hand. DPI switch is a great feature as is the use of the Ghost software to manage your multiple profiles for different games. Price isn't bad in my opinion either. Fast reaction time and also made of nice material....
  • Cons: This is nitpicking but at times my DPI settings seem to shift around on their own. It doesn't change the actual mouse DPI though. So it will say its on High, when its really on medium. A weird bug it looks like. A reset of the profile and a calibration test usually fixes that for a long while. Ot...

Great mouse!

Anonymous, Newegg
10 August 2013
  • Summary: I wanted to replace the Gigabyte M6980X I was using because it was having problems tracking sometimes. Looked into what else Gigabyte has as to match it to my KB and MB. As you can see I like Gigabyte products. Anyways, it was between this, the Avia Krypton, or a Corsair M65.
  • Pros: Very nice well constructed gaming mouse. Braided 6 ft. cable with a quality gold plated usb connector. Customizable weights are a plus with any gaming mouse. This comes with 3 - 6 gram weights and 1 - 20 gram weight. Making a lot of different configurations possible to fit anyone's needs. Left an...
  • Cons: None so far. I guess it's not the Krypton, but I'm not spending that much more just for 1 feature that this one is lacking.

A great mouse with some notes

Lieu N., Newegg
27 May 2013
  • Summary: Overall this is a great mouse. At full weights it feels substantial but not too heavy. At no weights it's slick and light but won't fly out of control. It feels very durable, and despite the 2 cons mentioned above, it's a very well designed mouse. The biggest seller is the DPI switch.
  • Pros: - The DPI rocker is just makes sense. Its placement and use feel so natural. It's almost as if you were born with the instinct to use it. That's how simple and intuitive it is. And that's all you can ask for in a mouse - that it feels natural and thoughtless to use. - The finish on the top and si...
  • Cons: - You can't set custom DPI for each profile. Your sensitivity settings are shared across all profiles. - DPI LED indicator is set to red, no matter what you set the GHOST logo color to

I've been looking for an upgrade...

Westley P., Newegg
3 December 2012
  • Summary: Other things: - Might need some effort to figure out the Ghost software, but it's nothing to complain about - Braided cord and gold USB plug - comes with an extra set of teflon feet and a disc-shaped case for the weights (3 small weights and one big weight, the specific weights of the weights escape...
  • Pros: ...but I keep coming back to this mouse. I'm very particular about my mice, as you'll soon see... - The tilt wheel is the best I've ever used and is why I keep coming back For those of you who hate scroll wheels that have really defined steps and are loud as hell, rejoice! The scroll wheel on the...
  • Cons: Some minor issues though... - Occasionally starts skipping/stops tracking on cheap (mine anyway) cloth mousepads Can be fixed by turning off Perfect tracking precision. I configured a profile with the side buttons toggling PTP on and off, so I just switch to it when it gets finicky and switch bac...

  • Summary: Started out on the noble m-6800 then went to the m-6980 then decided to get laser. So i bought this ALL their mice have been ABOVE expectations. Great feel HIGHLY RECOMMEND ALL these mice!!
  • Pros: Love this mouse. FAST response the DPI settings are VERY good highest is at times to high for me to handle still. Tracking is great. On the fly DPI switching is easily done. Even love the feel of this mouse.
  • Cons: Not wireless??? (though i already knew this so not much of a con)
